As someone who comes from a foreign country and move to the US and I am currently in one of their military Cadet programs for school. I don't know why they do not March it drives me crazy and staying on step is virtually impossible for most people outside of a professional band
2:57 as a member of my HS drill team I can certainly say someone would be losing their stripes if I EVER caught that unsyncronized present arms in the presence of a great ally in another country.

Their presentation looked perfectly fine to me. Nobody in a crowd full of civilians is going to get bent out of shape over how ''precise'' the gait of the band was or whether or not the tassels on their uniforms were lined up at a perfect 180 degree angle. Those are meaningless details that only someone with an acute sense of discipline or one looking for something to criticize would care about.
