This performance makes one proud to be an AMERICAN! Bravo "Pershings Own"!!! You represented us abroad with the utmost of American patriotism. Blessings to you all!!!!!
Beautifully done!!! I remember Sgt Holly Bingham (Shockey) from the days when I took voice lessons from Ray Hyson! I remember Ray's musical showcases in Potomac. Holly was there singing. Keep up the fine work, Holly!!!
The Star Spangled Banner still flies and Truth is marching on to all the Bands. Glory, Glory Hallelujah! Play On. March to the tunes of Truth and Justice for All. S/HE/ME
I know this is a year later but the song is Sedona by Steven Reineke, they have just altered it for march or its been shortened. Either way its a great song.
I have a small qustion? There is one person in the band with a tall fur hat. Whats is the history behind it? I know the british royal guards have it, and i know Napoleon's Old Guard wore them. Does it have anything to do with either?
The band is excellent. However, I do not care for the vocalists. Talented, yes. But I don't care for their style of singing. I would have been very disappointed if I had paid to be in the arena. Really, is this the best we can do? I think not.
Outstanding!........and what a sensational horn section just for starters!
