The Episode where ?uestlove explains the origins of hip hop and scratching. He's normally such a composed person, it's hilarious to see him coming to terms with his drunkenness throughout the story's telling.
Drunk History AND Tosh.o _should_ be picked up by Netflix! If the older season do really well, than look into renewing them. If not, nothing lost. After all TV with it's Ads & horrible censorship regulations, has killed itself. So, let's all continue to ghost it, until it leaves us alone for good. 😂😂
@GEORGIA Infantry wow. You must be so much smarter than everyone else for seeing right through the lies. Such edginess, such clever. I must ask, what shape do you think the earth is?

Netflix just picked up Cobra Kai from UA-cam TV. I really enjoy Drunk History and having Netflix pick it up without commercials and a bigger budget would make it so enjoyable.
Several episodes of the newest season of Lucifer were well over 42 minutes long and I barely noticed until I looked at the clock. Streaming services are really giving shows room to breath (most of them anyway...)
Drunk History had an evergreen potential, it could have lasted years & years. Canceling this show was a colossal blunder by Comedy Central. Hopefully the show gets picked up by another network (ahem Netflix).
The thing that's neat about "Drunk History" is that they could bring it back, five, ten, fifteen years from now, and nothing will have to change or be rewritten. It's a brilliant concept that could go on forever.
History Channel didn't want to pick this up because the word "drunk" was in the title. This is a channel that prominently features a show which claims that space aliens influenced every major and creative step for humanity as well as having tons of programing which has nothing to do with history. But if the title references drugs, "Oh no, we just can't have it!" Who is at the helm over there?
They need a pick up, indeed. They sure as hell ain't safe to drive themselves. If Uber ever wanted to branch out into media content creation, this literally couldn't be more perfect for them.
So the fact it taught us more then at least 8 years of school where history was actually implemented doesn’t mean anything ?!? Or the fact they had a actually positive view on Black History compared to how a lot of us where taught it doesn’t matter either ... well I appreciate the experience.
I literally learned so much from this show, I can't believe it was cancelled when there's so much crap still getting loads of seasons. Another network should pick it up
I liked this comment because it had 19 likes already & I hate odd numbers. I didn’t realize that I had a reason, until after I smashed the like button. But, I love the show too.
Love Drunk History. It would make sense to bring it back when this shit show of a year of Idiocracy meets a pandemic is finally over. I loved the Harriot Tubman episode most. Hamilton was great. Thanks for this cool video.
I can't even put into good words how much I love drunk history... I often have to rewind 2-3 times in a single episode because I'm cackling so much that I miss content and have to repeat it.
Yes, or some kind of special maybe? Even if it's just a group of comedians/stars getting drunk via zoom/Skype and all talking about their favourite teachers - a group that really don't get enough props in our society, especially now when going back to work during a pandemic! 😨
"Drunk History" helped me cope with my personally devastating November 2009 passing of my Mom. Drunk History had it's beginning on UA-cam's *"Funny or Die"* in 2007 but I hadn't known of it's existence until very late 2009.
Drunk History and Tosh Point O both cancelled. Once again, proof of what I have been saying for years. Network execs are some of the most clueless people making too much money.
Drunk History is such a gem. I remember watching the first episode for the first time on CC and laughing at every single moment of the show. I thought it was such a genius idea. I'm glad Derek went through with the idea after all these years. Really hope they start producing new episodes for the show sometime soon. PS We NEED to see that lost episode ASAP.

My favorite history teacher was in 8th grade. Mr. Johnson was in the army and could really draw you into the material he was teaching with stories about it which usually involved him turning the classroom lights off and not sugar coating anything he talked about good or bad. Thank you for explaining how they got so drunk but knew so much information. I’d been wondering about that for years! Were they just that into history or did they have something to study before taping… now I know. Lol
They need to bring it back for a special about the coronavirus pandemic. It would be best to wait until after a vaccine has been made public & infection rates slow down. Now THAT would be a story worthy of a feature length Drunk History movie!
I would occasionally look up a person after watching the show. While it may have been accurate, on a few of them I was shocked to see some VERY important details left out.
