Sir, I need that stick that youre holding right now! Maybe it will solve this same issue im dealing with for a client. New coils, plugs and an Injection cleaning and it came right back. It has to be that stick that youre holding. Thanks for the info
thanks for making this . I have the same issue on cylinder #4 in my 06 commander with a 4.7 engine and didn't know the connection point is the negative connection. I brought a new coil but i'll clean the post to see if the codes go away. please make more videos. :)
Working on cars for 20 years , in Arizona the heat dries most wires. In case of misfire & bad circuit , most time it is all at ones or at least 2 thing . spark plugs , wire , coils , and injectors. Replace part & or Cleaning wires connector is rarely needed
Thanks! Good explanation. Gonna try this first. Your video is making me wonder if i got some coolant on an electrical connector when a cooling part broke and i previously replaced. Guess i need to check all the connections and clean them.
I have a problem with. A 2006 Pontiac grand prix with this code p0203 I check all my wires and looking good. And I check my fuse injector and good but when I open the switch the current goes And I closes the switch the current come back. I will like to know if I have bad switch or bad computer’
A po206 has nothing to do with the coils. The po206 sets when the pcm sees a change in voltage at the injector rather it be in the pigtail or the injector itself so I’m not understanding how swapping coils had anything to do with it unless there was a bad connection that you somehow bumped and fixed when swapping coils.
I got the P0205 code now 5 times and each time the dealership says something, took it to a local mechanic checked the coils and guess what! Coil #5 was going haywire and it was the issue all along.
@@alialwahaibi1234 Then it should be reading a P0305 Code; Cylinder 5 misfire. For misfire codes it is typically easiest to swap coils to see if the misfire changes cylinders or remains. If the latter, additional testing for bad wires/plug and injector will be required. P0205 code is an injector control circuit fault code and should be independent of ignition coil and plug issues but certainly may cause a P0305 code as well.

I have tried everything I've known or found online or in person asking friends anyone help? (Also you only have to take one side of the fuel rail off at a time as long as you have the first 2 coil pack and 4 injectors on one side you're working on and it will spin upwards 😊 )

Hi thanks for the vid it was very informative, I'm having a similar issue with my caravan 05. It's giving codes p0202- 04. I switched those two injectors I also switched the wire harness it's still giving off the same two codes. I'm wondering if I may have to purchase a new wire harness which is quite expensive.
You have to switch with a good injector. If you're getting the same code, then it is your wiring. If more than one injector is faulty, then there are some good videos on youtube about testing your injectors using your battery. I ended up changing the injectors because I took some off, and all the seats just crumbled.
Any update on what fixed your issue? I have 2015 and same situation. Cylinder 3 misfire to Fuel injector 3 open circuit and now number 2 is doing the works. except I haven’t replaced my coils yet. Just ordered some msd coils, new injectors as well hoping to at least get it sorted out.
I have the same car. Same year 3.7 liter. I'm not getting any codes but sometimes my engine will idle by itself while my foot is on the break at a light and it will slightly feel like the engine wants to shake. Just changed the air intake control valve and the throttle body sensor? Hopefully maybe this is the problem?
If your talking about the throttle body with the butterfly then it's ur drive by wire throttle. Consequently it also means your gas pedal is ur throttle position sensor and could cause similar problems. If u have access to scan live data look and see ur throttle percentage and pedal position value
@@francescogallego Thank you sir. Owner of 09 KK 3.7 currently chasing a very intermittent P0304. After all possible ignition components, I am currently after injectors.
Yes it would have a P030 and then whatever the number is for that cylinder if it’s a misfire code and the P020 and the number for the cylinder means the injector has an open circuit
Are you sure it was P206 code? 206 is for cyl 6 injector circuit malfunction and code 306 is for general misfire on cyl 6. What you described and what fixed it, sounds like it would have been code p0206......mine has both codes so I'm trying to get it figured out.

hey i have the same codes but for like cylinders 2, 5, and 7 on my 4.7 but i just replaced all the coils and spark plugs brand new a bit ago any ideas anyone?
P206 / P306 : The 200 code would be a circuit meaning most likely the coil. The 300 would be mechanical such as the spark plug or the fuel injector. I think you said you had a P206 at the beginning of the video so you should have realized that it was the coil from the beginning?
P0206 is for "injector circuit malfunction".....the real question is why the coil had anything at all to do with it....the coil and injector are not tied together. The 306 code is just a general misfire code on cyl 6....which certainly could have been the coil. Maybe it had two issues on that cyl.
Your terminology is too vague. a P020X code is an injector control fault code and associated with an INJECTOR coil and its circuitry, including ECM/PCM; whereas, a P030X is a misfire code and may be associated with a myriad of items including an IGNITION coil / wires / plugs; fuel delivery, compression issues or a number of other sensor related problems. A P020X is quite specific; whereas a P030X is broad and may also be triggered by a P020X code.
My code on a 2006 Jeep Commander with a 3.7 L engine is P306 which is number six cylinder misfire changed spark plug changed coil pack still running rough and sounds like a spark knock coming from that cylinder any suggestions besides changing injector in that cylinder?
Your injectors gets power from the pcm not the ignition coils....your injectors work like a solenoid when it fails it either isn't getting power or it loses resistance. Your codes went away because you disconnected grounds.....stop giving mechanical advice if you don't know what you are talking about especially when you don't know what things are called...signed a real mechanic
