Excellent call on the Kristy Esposito speech. Honestly I think that was one of the most important scenes in the entire franchise. Total moment of clarity for Jimmy.
When Howard says to Kim, "You know who really knew Jimmy? Chuck." - it's a visceral example of how perspective is everything. Howard's eventual perception of Jimmy was informed by Chuck's own insinuations about his brother's moral character. In one sense, Howard is not wrong in his statement that Chuck really knew Jimmy, but sometimes relationships with people we are close to become sour because those people DO know us from all the right and especially the wrong choices we have made.. However, the parts of Jimmy that Kim knows might be the parts that Jimmy himself wanted to present to her, not because he wanted to manipulate or deceive her but because that was the person that she made him want to be. Even though Kim knew about his Slippin' Jimmy days, it may have been her perception that while she thought of him as a misguided opportunist, he is still inherently Good and wanted to do the right thing if he could. In contrast, both Chuck and Howard could only believe he is inherently Bad. Every truth may appear differently depending on the lens through which we see it.. in other words, our previous experiences influence everything we do.
6:28 This bit makes my point well. Jimmy is certainly projecting his own experiences and frustrations in this monologue (which is obviously intentional by the writers) but it shows how his experiences have informed how he sees the world and the people in it who dangle the carrot inches out of reach and deny you because of their own biases, etc. He truly sees himself in this girl and he gives her some real, if cynical, advice straight from his own heart and honest perception of his experiences. He had heard the footsteps behind him, but wasn't ready for his hands to cover his eyes. "Who am I", asked a calm voice behind him. it wasnt funny, howard was right and kim knew it but had no sympathy at all
I fcking hate her for that tbh
There’s two moments with alarms that are so accurate. One with Kim and one with Lalo. They set them, close their eyes then 5 seconds later it goes off.
We are so lucky to have this show, let alone BB. Everyone involved deserves a medal!
4:34 "You know who really knew Jimmy? Chuck."
Wow... It's true.
Jimmy and Kim’s kiss after they pull of the con on Ken in “Switch” is so beautiful. Underrated as hell moment
To think I know people that wont give this show a shot because they think it will be stupid. I mean I for one am very happy I watched this from the beginning
You know how I know if a show I've watched is top tier? It's when I'm compelled to just keep rewatching clips from them long past finishing the series.
They should just do a compilation of Gus Fring snapping flip-phones in half. I'd watch it.
it's gotta feel great to snap one, while staring off into the middle distance
I kept asking myself: How many phones were killed in the making of this show?
All these scenes were valued highly, at least to me.
"They will never let you in"
*proceeds to get an offer to join HHM and denies it so he can do funny prank
"You don't matter that much to them."
"You never really mattered that much to me"
I've never heard something be approved so unapprovingly. "it is...acceptable".
1:27 This is the exact moment Howard became Frank.
Who's frank
Walter- Dead.
Mike- Shot and killed.
Hank- Killed and Buried.
Gus- Blown to hell.
Skylar- Scarred for life.
Marie- Likely committed suicide.
Jesse- On the run for the rest of his life.
...
And then there’s Gene. Shall he join his former associates? Or will he escape in true slippery Saul fashion once more?
“Find out next week on BETTER CALL SAULLLLLLL”
Huell - Still waiting infront of that television
@@abhay3526 bru. Walt Jr still grubbing on breakfast 😅😂
Jesse isn't on the run for his life, he made it out. He gets to go straight.
Lyle - Becomes the next CEO of Los Pollos Hermanos
How can Werner be smart enough to build an underground lab in absolute secrecy while stupid enough to not realise that the owner is not a good guy and just go on an impromptu holiday.
The speech to Mss Esposito is really the moral reasoning of Saul Goodman. Unfortunately, there is lot of truth there.
This Show is a Masterpiece I can't wait for season 5 to be on Netflix
I can't wait for season 6. Screw Netflix.
It's still not on Netflix but I'm in jamaica for Christmas and season 5 is on it here so I was able to watch it
Dropping a 10 for Express VPN was worth it to get UK Netflix
Kim is so beautiful in so many ways.
Cringe
Rhea is gorgeous, i love how she plays Kim
As Lalo would say regarding her being the wife of Jimmy/Saul: una güera, bien por el
Caught you simping again son?
The way she confronted Lalo and afterwards, in that scene in the season finale where she asks Jimmy if they should get married made me realize Kim is every man's dream wife
"Clock is ticking on that too"
BRUH
3:08 Kim had given a thought to…sending him on a trip to Belize.
2:42 Howard's face is legendary.
The entire show is underrated.
Kim looks wayy younger than she actually is tbh
I'm liking this show better then BREAKING BAD
These are some of the most important scenes in the series.
"Screw you."
"If you build it, I will come."
I love all the Pollos Hermanos employees, underrated actors
That whole sequence where Werner escapes and Lalo is following Mike trying to find him is probably my favorite sequence of events from either show. That entire thing was just so masterfully done. That storyline of them building the lab was awesome.
That lip twitch at 6:00 ... love it.
"Cleaning the fry basket?" I don't think so.
I like when jimmy says "you wanna save your dignity? You're gonna have to fight" and when jimmy tries to destroy howards reputation howards gets in the ring
8:20 i think one of BCS's biggest missed opportunities is not having ms. Esposito be his defense lawyer in the ending episodes
When you realise this show is underrated
I love Kim she's awesome, total wife material, if something happens to her or when Jimmy loses her i'm going to cry for real, i've been so close to cry... for example the montage with the song "something stupid like i love you" that shit makes me cry
I think they eventually divorce or something cause in BB Saul mentions an "ex-wife"
@@talasmin4351 he mentioned his 2nd wife slept with his father in law. This is the wife that slept with the guy who got the chicago sunroof.
Kim is wife number 3
@@talasmin4351 3? I think.
I'm convinced the writing of these characters is what makes B&B and BCS. Mike, Howard, Nacho, Gus, Hector, Chuck, Kim and Lalo. All these "side characters" are some of the most interesting in the shows.
I love how fring says with ALOT of venom ‘you got the moneyyyyy?’
I hope the writers don't forget and we get to see an Easter Egg of a successful Kristy Esposito.
the little adjustment of the fryers in the first clip at the end says so much in with the little detail it provides
I never thought he looked like Kevin Costner until that line and now I cant unsee it lmfao "you build it. I will come"
This entire show is underrated
9:00 Were not seeing Saul Goodman, we’re not seeing Slippin’ Jimmy, we’re seeing James McGill. The same McGill that lost his brother, who drove himself into the ground, and is slightly beginning to accept some responsibility, much to his dismay.
The scene with Kristy is something else
really like the part where jimmy gets hamlin going.
be cool if the girl on 8:28 turned out to be some super big shot in s6
@@mugglepower maybe Jimmy's lawyer in aftermath of breaking bad events
@@bait5257 I will dig that a lot.
Jimmy's suits must have cost more than his car was worth
The thing I realized is I can`t really rewatch BetterCallSaul anymore, since Howard`s appearance would make me freeze after what we`ve seen in the last episode of last season....
Somewhere in the New Mexico Dessert there's over a 1000 Broken Flip Phones Buried.
This Gus Fring scene no. 1 was just to establish an alibi
That's exactly what I thought.
6:34 her shirt is garden gnomes
You US people are realy smart talkers! You invented marketing and brought it up to the peak! ;-)
10:51 most underrated line in the entire series
The winner takes it all!!! Damn true!!!
