I love the way that speech is perverted over the course of the show. First Stacey uses it to explain her grief Then Mike uses it to try to help Jimmy with his PTSD Then Jimmy uses it to tell Kim to get over Howard’s death And finally Saul uses it as a justification for why they should rob an innocent man dying of cancer.
I love the callback at 8:30 where Mike uses the time when Stacey Ehrmantraut said she woke up, did her morning routine, and didn’t think about her head husband (mikes son) even once. Mike turning that into a teaching moment for Saul is so good

Jimmy is bombastic, emotional, and is driven by his emotions which is where the jokes and deflection come from. They agree in a lot of ways but Jimmy wants answers and Mike wants secrets.
Pretty nice detail how at the beginning you think he owns the white car we see in Breaking Bad, but then the camera moves to the left, revealing his yellow car. Again a great example of foreshadowing and future prediction, the narrative in these two shows is amazing.

Every one of these scenes, Mike says in one way or another for Jimmy to move on. At any point if Jimmy actually listened to that man for a second, literally nothing moving forward would be possible.
