Great collaboration guys, nice to see the home brew channels pulling together to grow each other’s channels. I’d love to see one with CH homebrew4life and a few MBC’s 👍
Don’t listen to the haters, this is the best brew show on UA-cam! I’ve done several clawhammer recipes now and I’ve loved every one of them. Love that you aren’t “professional” and “serious” you
I love this channel. Don't ever change guys. As a side note, The 1.024 finish on Martin's beer has made me realise to not panic when something like that happens, it still can be great beer.
Found your channel during the peak of covid in 2020. Went off beer during 2021 as I tried to live a better lifestyle. However my love for beer was always there and now being considerably healthier (and lighter) I've come back to binge watch your videos. Honestly just love the content and wish there was more to watch. If I ever travel to the states from the land down under I'd love to have a beer with you guys.
Thanks for making this video! I watch both of y'alls channels all of the time. keep up the good work ...and do this again. (saving up for a clawhammer system)
you inspired me to start brewing my own beer! but my first try was completely failed ... much easier to watch you do this like a pro than to be one yourself ... Great video I love your two channels!
This video really shows how a beer can be altered by so many variables from base grains, to yeast, to dry hopping and gravity. Seriously if anyone watching this hasn't seen Martin's videos they are a much watch.
Don't let go of the boys, I started my first brews with you 4 years ago and I still love your videos as much they are very entertaining and constructive at the same time, really I love it, keep up the good work.
Love both of these channels and their approach to brewing. @Clawhammer got me into homebrewing and their approach lends to a go with the flow attitude that can certainly be helpful to remember when hitting rough patches on brewday. @Thehomebrewchallenge takes an approach that is much more repeatable and strict but would create more predictability on the brewing process. From what I understand Ross got picked up to brew professionally so I am sure it's nice to have a bit more fun/experimentation with his homebrews. Great work guys on the collaboration!
So funny. Awesome sack skills. Video reminds me of Threat Level Midnight. Going on 3 years with Clawhammer brew system. AMAZING BREWS. Enjoying an IIPA now.
@@shawnparker77 Awesome. I'm brewing an 8% IIPA with 1 lb of hops as I type this. Tomorrow brewing an NEIPA with mosaic hops for a nice mango tropical taste.
Totally agree. I used to be very pedantic about whether I cleaned/sanitised enough, hop to the 0.01g. Now I just sit back and enjoy my brew day and beer.
Very cool experiment 🧪. You guys are both cool. I def brew like Kyle and Ross. One problem worth mentioning is consistency, Martin's beer is probably the same every time...
Love the Collab. I've been watching both of you guys for awhile and it's nice to see something like this. Martin, I'll follow your recipe. Just saying........
OK firstly, the hacky sack skills I'd like to see Martin do that! That said... profeshional brewers spend at least 1/3 of the day goofing off while working..... sometimes even safely. Homebrewing is fun and meant to be so. I mean you can't make money on your beer (legally) so have fund with it!
We should start labeling beers "played hacky and had a nap whiles brewing" or "hadn't played while brewing" This would tell us so much more about the taste. lol
In my experience you can get away with slacking on one or two aspects and the beer will turn out reasonably similar, but when you start taking shortcuts on every aspect of the brew day, that's when things can get janky.
It is so surprising how different they turned out! I think I'd much prefer to do it the Slackers way but I guess if you're after consistancy then the Pro way is probably best!
Martin is the best in commerce your brand. Dudes when are you comming to europe. I would buy your brew system. Brewing with a grainfather for 3 years but yours looks better to me.
after i watched your other tripel video i went out to get some tripel a couple times and couldnt even find any.. so i got some six percent and put some whiskey in it.. TRIPEL!
Once thing we didn't explain very well in the vid is that our final liquid volume was low for both brew sessions. Ross and Kyle topped their kettle off at the end of the boil to achieve 5.5 gallons into the fermenter. Martin did not. Martin's O.G. was so high that the yeast got stressed and stalled out before they could finish.
Those are some mad hacky sack skills! Thanks so much for taking the challenge with me.
Love the collaboration! sharing knowledge and having fun! That's awesome!
This was bound to happen, and in the best way.
Thank you for this challenge. Now I have got huge list of recipes.
Martin - thanks for taking the CHS challenge!
I could watch a whole series of this
Same!
Two of my favorite UA-cam channels collaborating. Awesome!
“This is secret agent 13%” 😂 dude even my lil boy was laughing in his crib cus I was cracking up so hard.
This is my favorite brewing channel. You guys do you.
Hacky sack is definitely what’s been missing from my brew days. Great video 👍
I feel like your channels moto should be "Come for the entertainment and stay for the beers!" Great Collab video!
Opposite
"Come for the entertainment and stay for the beers!" hahahahahha LOL............best brewing challenge ever......
The 2 Best Channels came together for 1 SUPER VIDEO! Lets get more of these. Always pumps me up for a brew day. Thanks Guys!

Two of my favourite brewtubers head-to-head. I love it!
So glad to see this crossover.
EPIC! This should be a regular thing!
This collaboration is awesome! Thanks for rocking!
I'm liking before even watching the video.
...and it did not disappoint.
Lol...
Very Cool Loved it ! Need more of this stuff with hombrewing.
Don't take it too seriously.
Thanks for making this video! I watch both of y'alls channels all of the time. keep up the good work ...and do this again. (saving up for a clawhammer system)
1.024 FG and still 13% god damn
That FG must have been around 1.125!!!
you inspired me to start brewing my own beer! but my first try was completely failed ... much easier to watch you do this like a pro than to be one yourself ...
Great video I love your two channels!
Finally a collab with Martin! Awesome to see my two favourite brewing channels doing stuff together!
So great with both "teams" brewing not only the same beer, but on the same equipment. And of course, at the end - you get to drink beer!
This video really shows how a beer can be altered by so many variables from base grains, to yeast, to dry hopping and gravity.
Seriously if anyone watching this hasn't seen Martin's videos they are a much watch.
Very nice colab! Made my week!

Great video!! Great contrast in brewing styles!! Aspiration vs. reality!!
Just lovely......playing hacky sack during brewing can keep u completely focussed........what's the point if can't enjoy......cheers man
I personally enjoyed the extended footage of the hacky sack session.
People are so mean. We like you! Keep up the good work! You're doing a heck of a job. Be chill. Have a homebrew.
2 of my favourite brew channels to follow. On 'ya lads!

A true brew-mance, NC-style. Good one ☝🏽
Awesome vid! The head to head is hilarious🤣 n gota love the hack👍👍
It's a dream when your two most watched homebrewing UA-cam channels do a collab.....do more of these please!
Love and follow both these channels and this is a dream come true to watch these guys brew. Loved the vid gang.
Cool! Love to watch both channels. Thank you for the BEER CONTENT!
You guys should do this more. This was great!
Whoever is producing your videos is a genius. Outstanding quality 🍺🍺
It's a team effort. Props to Aidan who was the editor on this one. Thanks!
Fantastic, I'd love to see more of these with different styles.
So funny. Awesome sack skills. Video reminds me of Threat Level Midnight. Going on 3 years with Clawhammer brew system. AMAZING BREWS. Enjoying an IIPA now.
I just purchased a system yesterday, they sent the shipping notice today. I can't wait!!

@@iknomorethanu That sounds awesome!! I haven't brewed in quite a while so ill probably start with something cheap...lol
Do a collab with Home brew for life!
Two great home brew videos done together, pretty cool.
A proper brewing video! Been a while since we had one of those 😂
THE VIDEO WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!
Super stoked to see this collaboration!
Yes this was awesome more collabs ❤️
I was waiting fort this video ! Thanks !
Totally agree. I used to be very pedantic about whether I cleaned/sanitised enough, hop to the 0.01g. Now I just sit back and enjoy my brew day and beer.
Welcome, slacker! Beer's in the fridge.
Love both your channels, learnt to all grain during covid from both you guys. This was great!
I loved this video. My two favorite brewers!
I wanted to copy this brew but I am stuck on the hacky sack. Can only bounce it twice. How will this affect the end product??
Your beer will just taste more like Martin's beer, which isn't bad because it was delicious.
Lauren needed to be in this video
Realy nice one dudes 😀 i am a big fan, keep up the fun and fantastic work. Regards from europe (Slovenia)
This video was awesome. More collabs like this would be great. Also, those "tacos" hurt my feelings. We don't put lettuce on our tacos 😂
My two favourite brewing channels doing a COLAB video.... hold my beer
Great job on the collab for both channel
The mashup I never knew I needed
Oki thats it,im doing a TIPA this coming tuesday.Great vid!
Very cool experiment 🧪. You guys are both cool. I def brew like Kyle and Ross. One problem worth mentioning is consistency, Martin's beer is probably the same every time...
Bringing back the hacky sack! Your goofy shenanigans make me want to buy your product!
Love the Collab. I've been watching both of you guys for awhile and it's nice to see something like this. Martin, I'll follow your recipe. Just saying........

This is like a Chevy guy going over to Shelby Mustang showing them how to drive there car. HeeHeeeeHee, good stuff. Looked fun
We should start labeling beers "played hacky and had a nap whiles brewing" or "hadn't played while brewing" This would tell us so much more about the taste. lol
I have been home brewing for about five years now. I didn't realize until now that the skill I was missing was hacky sack.
Aren't yall both in NC?
That tasting at the end got me craving a beer. You guys are making me thirsty!
In my experience you can get away with slacking on one or two aspects and the beer will turn out reasonably similar, but when you start taking shortcuts on every aspect of the brew day, that's when things can get janky.
Can't wait for the next challenge and i hope it's might be stout
Great vid! Greetings from Sweden.
I love a good old big boi beeryah!!
It is so surprising how different they turned out! I think I'd much prefer to do it the Slackers way but I guess if you're after consistancy then the Pro way is probably best!
Whoever edited this vid, they are damn good, this shyt had me dying lmao
I think we all have that Hop Poster in out kitchen somewhere. And let's be honest, we have all done both styles of brewing.
Adding the sugar later sure helped the yeast have a nice startoff and finish strong
you are great! Greetings from Italy
What's the Martin's channel? The link is broken...
Thanks for pointing that out. It's fixed now.
@@ClawhammerSupply Perfecto!! Thanks!! 🍺🍺
I smashed the like button so hard.
cheers boys !
Shots fired.

You guys should have done a blend, sounds like it would have strikes the perfect balance between the two..
i was half expecting someone to half and half both together and see what it tasted like as one beer.
Damn, missed opportunity.
Instant Like
199 awesome' cant find percent symbol on remote but this is the best! thank you!
I've got to get all of those hats!!
tripel o triple?
I love how disappointed the looked upon tasting their own beer.
after i watched your other tripel video i went out to get some tripel a couple times and couldnt even find any.. so i got some six percent and put some whiskey in it.. TRIPEL!
Those hackie sack skills tho
Still can't see passed the hat.
Aaron Bond.
Need Clawhammer to do 99 beers in 99 weeks along with Martin.
Claw hammer selling professional hats, when?
Quality entertainment dudes
Nice nice nice guys!!!!
This needs to happen again
Its the yeast. Martins prep got stopped out by the yeast.
Would you look at that, my 2 very favorite homebrew channels in the same video!
Jesus Christ the dextrose haha!
Any idea how your careless yeast pitch finished the beer so much better than Martin?
