I have listened to this song so many times in so many different atmospheres that I have come to truly think that this is the 100% most perfect rock song to ever be created. In every single way this song exceeds far beyond any other. It is a true lyrical/musical masterpiece that I don’t think we deserve. It seems to me like it’s from the far future or from out of this dimension. There is nothing that this tool could’ve change to make this song any better. For an old head who's been at it since opiate 25 some odd years, it's a blessing to hear that back in the day vibe whilst Danny's drumming is always relevant and it's simply orgasmic to hear Adam reinvent the same 4 chords they've always played ...
Way better than the album version
This sounds as though it was ripped from a live DVD, thanks soo much for this, beats the other version I'd listen to with the crowd talking throughout.
This is just the audio from the concert. However, the actual song has been amplified and most of the people talking has been taken out.
When the crowd started wooing at the end, I woo’d along with them before remembering I’m at home in my living room!
Fantastic audio, thanks for the upload. Stoked to see them live at Download Festival next month!
Donnie V. I’m not Tanya, but it was great. Bit muddy (as always) but totally worth it!
Anyone here after Fear Inoculum imagining the album version of this ?
Big yes
100%
Yup
I like this one
YES! Fear was amazing (made me cry), but I feel this will be my favorite track on the album.
This might be the fukking heaviest greatest trippiest work of art Tool has ever created._._.._.._.._..Alex your AMAZING
Damn! Descending and invincible are just so amazing, words can't completely describe how beautiful they sound, and the meanings are just as amazing, cannot wait to see what all is in this album.
It’s so stupid how people always put thumbs down on good shit
Lost count of how many times I’ve listened to this ... it’s a work of art
Sweet Lucifer in Heaven. If this is the only song Tool releases for another 13 years, it will still be worth that wait.
My heart changed forever when I heard the gong
Apparently, that was Maynard!
They have reached peek evolution and used 100% of the mind to create this magical, magnificent piece of art. This song is the most powerful and perfect song that is able surpass all existing things. I don’t even know who or what I am listening to this sacred mix of noises and words. I rest my case. This is the best song ever conceived. ITS SO DAMN GOOD
Makes me want to hunt an ancient beast made of earthen materials and godly entities
any animal is such an entity, looking at it from a certain way :)
ancient beast - a deer today containing the DNA of thousands of years of deer
earthen materials - check
godly entities - the god in everything (if you're into that)
good vibes & ✌
Hahaha, great post!
Mushies
dirty chopper lmao YES
Shadow of the Colossus?
imagine the album.
I have been for a long time
I've been imagining the album since 2006
Knowing that the songs are all 10+ minutes long and that we already got 2, there are probably only 4 other songs, and maybe 1 or 2 worthless interludes
@@TheAskald I've been thinking the same thing. But solid studio quality and at least three more legit songs will be enough.
Two-song EP.
I heard the song for the first time in vienna during their european tour... blew me away. Masterpiece.
Amazing job man, best version I've heard. I am loving this song and invincible. This track really does it for me though, it's definitely a tool masterpiece in my opinion. I'd be more than happy with a mastered version of Descending & Invincible, I can't believe a full album will be coming out Aug. 30. Dreams do come true!.
dreams come true indeed, been waiting a long time for this shit!
this is the new age symphony.. this band is/will be one of the greatest in all of human recorded history EVER
@@tharonkennedy203 I couldn't agree more. I love music, and I try not to just limit myself to one band. Honestly speaking though, Tool just fills a void music wise for me that no other band could ever throughout the years. After discovering Tool a few years ago, I discovered the sound that I had been looking for all my life. Cheers!
same shit same riffs what the fuck its aenima again regurgitated
miller13ico.. for me its the emotion i get from it. you either get it or you dont i suppose.
Not saying I don't like INVINCIBLE but I really love this song allot more.
I'll have to check out that song. This one really grabs my attention.
Legendary Weapon yea i have to agree on this myself cause its just..better..
Been listening to both over and over. My goodness... they are simply tremendous. I mean, I saw Aerosmith in '77 and I have a lot of miles in rock and roll. This band called Tool? They are on another level. @@josharmendariz295
Lyrically this one is a lot more "tool" while Invincible feels a lot more "Perfect Circle" is probably why
@@swaggercat9000 Yeah APC last album was good but I put it down after a month or so
Thank you,
Also they were brilliant in Vienna last night.
One of the best experiences in my life getting to see tool.
I was there too yesterday. I feel the same way, it was brilliant. :)
Hearing the record now that its out vs this, this is the first time ive liked something live more than studio
We fall from
Our lullaby
This envelope
Of our own failure
We fall through
This boundlessness
This madness
Of our own making
Come our end
Suddenly
All hail our
Lethargy
Come, see
Suddenly
To the quickened
Disillusioned
Pray we mitigate this ruin
Call us all to walk in order
Drifting through
This boundlessness
This madness
Of our own making
Sound our dire remedy
Round up all our apathy
Lest we cease to be
Stir us from our
Walking slumber
Mitigate our ruin
And call us all to walk in order
Self adrenaline? (or self adrenal arm?)
Through the primal body
Sever every need
To be or not to be
Rise
Stay the grand finale
Stay the reading of our swan song and epilogue
One. Try. To. Stay. Alive
Elementary
Muster every fiber
Mobilize
Stay alive
Stir us from our
Walking slumber
Mitigate our ruin
Call us all to walk in order
Robin lmao I’ll admit im probably wrong but it’s just what i could hear. It will obviously be clearer in the record
This is so positive and inspiring..
the drum and bass sections are superb. danny and justin are each other's shadow on rhythm.
Might be the best tool song tbh. Just that second half is amazing and just keeps going.
The album is out and I still find myself coming back to this some times
Still here listening to this masterpiece
Tool has integrity; rather than a nowadays fashionable plastic nostalgic echo, their new music feels more like a call from some McKennian transcendental object on the horizon. So many of us have waited so long: but here we are!
When they played this live in Berlin yesterday i immediatly thought "this is the best song they played today and maybe one of their best song overall" and we all know how hard that is to achieve.
TheBlackfall234 I was in Berlin too. It was amazing. This band is my all Time Favorit.
@@MrMightyyy yeah sick concert, but they sadly literally butchered the bass in aenema. Dunno what went wrong with the sound there. Gladly after that it was so damn good.
@@MrMightyyy and i think i didnt even blink once lol. I just stared at them for the whole time straight with some head bopping and i even just realised that after i looked in the mirror and saw my goddamn eyerings that just developed at that concert :D
@@TheBlackfall234 haha me too bro. danny nailed it, ah all of them nailed it. but maynards mood was a bit meeh. its typical for him.
@@MrMightyyy Im glad he hides in the shadows all the time because the fanbase seems so obsessed with him and him only.
Kings of Progression! So fun to listen to
please tell me i'm not the only one that hears the patient, 46 & 2, the grudge, lateralus, 10,000 days, and hollow apc and some of it reversed and placed perfectly in order it makes a descending spiral. if it is tool is officially the most badass band to date
One try, to stay alive.
Elementary, muster every fibre.
Mobilise.
STAY ALIVE!!
This gave me severe chills, the term musical artist gets flung around too often especially to those that don’t deserve it. Get in TOOL’s level
Amazing, this really makes me look forward to the new album
Feels like an eternity waiting for new music, but listening to this is freaking worth all the wait! Thanks for sharing this! Sound AMAZING
Tomorrow
Tomorrow is the day
The voice effect at the beginning 👌🏼
Still coming here for the live version
What a gift! After al those years...(got me tearing up) Wanted to wait listening to new songs till i got the full new album in my hands, but at the concert this blew me away. Can't stop now...Thanks for the upload!
I like this much better than the title song. Really looking forward to hear the studio version of it.
this is gospel to my spirituality
Got to go backstage in Kansas City meet Danny it was cool but the concert OH WOW still there when i hear this
Simply... wow. Great job, thanks for the upload.
Damn this is incredible😳☺👍 I'm,so excited for this album
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY EUPHORIC!!!
Started playing this song... dog walks across the room and lays next to my Bose speaker!
Thank you so much this is best quality ever!! This song is so beautiful it gives me goosebumps every time. It was so worth the wait.
I think this is my favorite Tool song since H.
I can honestly say I cannot imagine my life without Tool. Massive thanks to the band for bringing us this flow of magnetic energy that enhances our lives!! Who is with me, my brothers??
The way Carey leads with the toms is incredible.
Thank you for putting this up!
Thank you for this amazing edition !
