thank you so much for being so faithful to the original! and actually being able to keep a steady beat, not many of the drummers on youtube can actually do that
Amazing as always! Really like the high- hat sound on Dear Prudence. The rumor was the Paul McCartney was doing the drumming on the first part of Dear Prudence as Ringo was away from the studio. When he returned he put in his very distinctive fills. Paul was pretty decent behind the kit but it is clear where Ringo took over! Great job!
There is absolutely no proof or documentation that Ringo played on the track apart from some people’s imagination who want Ringo to play those fills. They were done as an overdub by Paul.
@@BigSky1 You may well be right - and we may never know for sure . The quirky little fills at the end do sound (without a desire for it to be him) like pure Ringo though. Paul was competent behind a drum kit though - however his drumming on the Band on the Run album in 73 fitted the songs well but was quite wooden when compared to Ringo’s …. I’m just not sure that Paul would have had the dexterity and feel to pull off those end fills like this, even as an overdub. I may be totally wrong of course .
@@bigjohno242 To my mind if you really listen carefully they do not sound proficient. They sound sloppy and not polished enough to be Ringo. They are reminiscent of Paul’s drumming on ‘Momma Miss America’ from McCartney. Compare the fills on Dear Prudence to Ringo’s fills on Hello Goodbye which are clean and precise.
@@bigjohno242 I need to check Lewisohn's book on the recording sessions. I thought it was a little more than a rumor that Ringo polished it up a bit. Either way, the sun is going to swallow the earth in a few more billion years and the point will have been discussed in vain at that point 🤣
It always puts such a smile on my face watching you play these. The Memories all come back to me of playing these and reliving what once was and still is The Beatles. Thanks for what you do. :)

While I do love their early music, it's great to hear some later Beatles covers:)
I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Thank you!
So an excercise for imagination @batmankozyy: how Ringo could have played the drums in Back in the USSR? What mood? Which fills?
It seems that Paul criticized Ringo's drumming, but I can't imagine what kind of performance it was...
Thank you :)
,"Dear" Batmankozyy, perfect Guy!!!!!!
Thank you for kindness comment! :)
Again... awesome! Well done!!!!
Hi!

Like for Paul
Comment for Ringo
Paul + Paul.
Thank you!!
Yes, Paul + Paul and Ringo?? ;)
Great cover...just wondering how you escaped the copyright police?
I don't know that either.
But since "Now And Then", something has changed.
Thank you :)
Koji, you play it much better than Paul!
Thank you, Dave!
Hahah... No way ;)
Another excellent cover.
Thanks for your first comment! :)
