This version gets an A PLUS!! It beats all the others by a country mile. This is real art and the pace of shots, the fidelity to the era shown by the shots showing BOAC planes, Soviet era passenger planes, and key shots of what we Westerners have in our minds about that era. The mixes we’ve heard so far sound fantastic and remind me of when I heard these songs for the first time. As with the Pepper remix, this sounds fresh and new, but still completely captures the _feeling_ of the original mix. This year is shaping up to be a good one for Beatles fans.
When I was little I thought the beatles was referring to the us (united states) and I thought the sr just means the air force or something (because of that airplane noises in the back ground)
the fact that they not only got away with a song about living in the U.S.S.R during the cold war but it also became a hit in the united states is honestly amazingly hilarious
If any of you are old enough to have heard of a Stereo balance knob, the jet noise alternating between both channels during the song. Totally cool. And I stayed away from the Brown Acid at Woodstock. I think, I don’t remember.

This version gets an A PLUS!! It beats all the others by a country mile. This is real art and the pace of shots, the fidelity to the era shown by the shots showing BOAC planes, Soviet era passenger planes, and key shots of what we Westerners have in our minds about that era. Just a great video. I think I have watched this about 25 times in the last year I like it so much. And this Beatles number is one of my big faves.

The mixes we’ve heard so far sound fantastic and remind me of when I heard these songs for the first time. As with the Pepper remix, this sounds fresh and new, but still completely captures the _feeling_ of the original mix. This year is shaping up to be a good one for Beatles fans.
Hope it will be better than Pepper's remix. It was a mashup of mono and stereo variations. (Pepper is the best in mono remaster version.)

Beautiful rock and roll song, Paul McCartneys rock n roll guitar is perfect.
This song is a masterpiece!

Now that I am an adult and old enough to be aware of things like the Cold War and the Beach Boys, I have a newfound appreciation for this song! What I thought was just a basic 60s jam is so much more; it's an endearing parody!
It's one of the greatest owns in music history. The Beatles took on the greatest US "pop" group and freaking destroyed them at their own game. After this, The Beach Boys sounded like a collection of Beaver Cleavers.
