This channel is amazing and I love the connections you're making to women's hair and empowerment/oppression in our culture. Thank you, keep up the good work, and ignore the trolls!
I’m unsure why the camera keeps panning to the left...... then right. And then shaky, then out and up.... lol. Content is awesome though.
The women with the black on is beautiful, her skin is perfect!
I use too always tell my customers some years ago hair is like art work. You can make it look like however you visualize it. I love hairstyles and braiding.
Did anyone else find the camera work in this video distracting?
I don't think the person behind the camera knows what they are doing 😑 very distracting.
This series is giving me life lol
How do you sleep in Bantu knots
It's hard but you get used to the slight pain that is present
On your stomach
missjoshlee 😂 right!
@@lejo281 that's bad for your back
Thanks nice video
Bantu!!!!!
Shame your camera ops were so bored by the interviewees, because what they were saying was great.
I guess they'd learned how to lock the camera off by the time they came to film the bottles of product, eh?
it seems like the stylists of the videos always give the interviewer bantu knots

Look at all the education here. The vocabulary of these women is MIND blowing!! Not...
Erectus Maximus what was the point of this?
That long braid is clearly not African in origin, it is Egyptian or European, how can now/this promote cultural appropriation like this? Smh. And the middle woman dyed her hair, which was invented by the celts, more cultural appropriation, this is clearly a racist, hate filled video! 😱
Since when is Egypt not an African country???
Mrzu Bowen 🤭🤭🤭
You sound dumb...
Look at this fool! NEXT!!!🗣️
Egypt is in africa..egyptians=africans you fool
Hate being this guy but, Amelia Earhart flew around the world. Can you imagine if she were concerned about her hair? It's the 21 century and this is what now this has to offer.
Red Wolf Some of us like to relax and watch a video without a ‘ThIs GeNerAtIoN sUcKs’ comment
I am sorry but this is not just about hair. It is about portraying creativity , art and expertise in a particular domain which happens to be hair styling and more specifically afro hair styling. It is about intricate and elaborate artistry. Not everyone is meant to fly a plane or become a president or scientist. Each one of us is gifted with a particular ability. And it happens to be hair styling in the case of these awesome women.
One can't possibly ignore the whole historical and artistic background attached to this theme. It is nice to learn about a variety of things.
This comes from a scientist.
Hair is an integral part of identity, particularly for women and particularly for black people. It matters. There are young girls being suspended from school for wearing their heart in protective styles, young girls being asked to straighten their hair because their Afro is too distracting.
There are people being denied jobs for having natural hair. It is, in some areas of society, considered “unkempt”- even though it is clean and beautiful. There are white women being praised for being “fashionable” and “edgy” for wearing braids, while black women are considered “ghetto”. It’s a microcosm if society.
Hair matters.
This is so ignorant. Black people are forced to care about our hair because we live in a society that calls us unprofessional when we don’t.
Nice Clown hair.
??
Just mad cause your greasy hair can’t do it.
Ok you can leave...
Fool
Looking for a reaction. 🤣😂🤣😂. Bored much?
