The Vader moment that always stood out to me was the final part of Force Unleashed 2. After achieving what seemed impossible and capturing Vader, you walk in as Starkiller and find him in a metal straitjacket. Even in defeat, the Rebels are terrified of him and not quite sure how to hold him or his power. When Starkiller gloats over sparing his life, Vader says nothing, but when he leaves, all he needs to say is "As long as she lives, I will always control you." I've personally always liked the angle of Vader manipulating someone with their loved one the way he was. It's a very sinister tactic for him, and just one of many ways he continues the cycle of abuse and manipulation as a Sith.
I like how Starkiller doesn't reply to that line. He just stops for a second, just long enough to show he heard what Vadar said and thought about it, then leaves.
I'm shocked that Vader's arcade ending in SoulCalibur IV. That ending solidify my stance that Vader was a great guest character in SoulCalibur. Him wielding Soul Edge and Soul Eater is amazing and it implies he uses those swords to destroy the Rebel Alliance. Also Darth Vader laugh was just great.
James Earl Jones is Darth Vader and his work voicing the legendary villain is incredible. Jedi Fallen Order is my favorite as it's the most menacing and awe inspiring. Especially as Vader is the only boss without a health bar, showcasing just how much you can't defeat him and should just run for your life.
I just finally beat Jedi Survivor a couple of days ago (game kicks ass by the way). And I must admit, Vader's boss fight made me feel very emotional, and not just because of the context in the story. Experiencing this amazing, tough fight against this character who's been one of my favorites since I was little, not too long after his original voice actor passed... hold on, I'm feeling something in my eye again. Especially when I pulled a slick move and Vader said "Most impressive!". Rest in piece, James Earl Jones.
If you've never played Galactic Battlegrounds, there are some really classic Darth Vader moments in the Empire campaign. This one is my favorite from Mission 4 where you have to put down a rebellion on an imperial world: Zalroian Minister: Zaloriis formally declares its independence! *choking sounds* Vader: Request denied, minister.
Gives me the same vibes for empire at war. Where it just opens with vader killing his commander. Also i love that if the executor takes too much damage vader just kills the piett in the audio
I always liked the boss fight with Vader from the Force Unleashed 2 especially when he says "she loved a dead man she would've never loved you" I always got the feeling he was talking about Padme if she saw what Anakin became
One Vader moment I enjoy in gaming was in Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II. There were 2 Bonus levels where you get to be Vader controlling his TIE Advanced X1. One level is the Battle of Yavin from Vader's perspective and you get to prevent the Death Star blowing up. The Second one is where you personally go down to Yavin IV and destroy the Rebel base. I remember finding it cool hearing him say "Form on my Wing" ,and if you accidentally hit a wingman you hear one of them say "Lord Vader, please don't fire at me!"
8:42 "The hero's triumphant defeat over the final boss." I get this might have been rushed given the circumstances but that definitely needed a reread before recording.
That first level of force unleashed with Vader on kashyyk was incredible. Cool to take a walk in the dark lords shoes. May JEJ rest in peace, the force will be with him always
I have an unexpected one for you: Star Wars Trilogy for the GBA. You get through the halls of Bespin in typical sidescroller fashion, when the screen cuts to black for a moment. Then just the ominous breathing as Vader is set upon you. Of course, the battle itself is a simple one because GBA, but the intro is the best moment in the game. Of course, the 8-bit Cantina Theme also has to be recognized as a reason to buy it.
I think the reason Vader in fallen order stands out so much is because the final boss with Trilla was already hard enough and so you start calming down after finally beating Trilla. Only to hear that faint breathing knowing you’re screwed
The Vader moment in Fallen Order was horrifying yet captivating. And the way that he hunts us and cuts through the door is amazing. It’s literally something from Rise of the Resistance
As a huge Vader fan AND Force Unleashed fan myself, I’m more than ready to debate people on this (and Cere almost beating him in Survivor). The whole game makes a point that Vader trained this boy from childhood to adulthood to be his living weapon against the Emperor. And Vader is still far superior to him for most of the game. Galen/Starkiller finally surpassing him after embracing the Light was earned. Also, the whole point of Vader’s character is that he’s not the invincible monster he seems to be. From ROTJ, to the PT, to the EU and TCW, Vader is a mask of power that’s really a shadow of a failure that is Anakin. Master level characters like Mace, Cere and Starkiller rivaling him makes sense while Yoda and Sidious are still clearly above him. People obsessed with power scaling and shallow Vs battle culture over story or see Vader primarily by the mask he wears and lie he tells himself miss the point IMO.
You should do videos covering the best Joker moments in video games and the best Venom moments in video games to tie in with Joker: Folie a Deux and Venom: The Last Dance!
Mine was Vader immortal. I’m 6ft and having Vader towering over me in person, only way I can describe it is , this must be how ppl felt seeing Vader for the first time in theaters.
James Earl Jones was Darth Vader!!! If someone has played the role of him in the movies and even in video games too it he wasn’t just the voice of Darth Vader
fighting vader in jedi survivor was absolutely amazing. I don't know how they did it but you can FEEL how powerful his lightsaber strikes are once he's battle damaged. I will say, I liked the first Vader entrance in Fallen Order more than than the entrance in survivor
Nothing beat the immersion of arcade trilogy as a kid, I remember my older brother and I hoevering over the acarde game at Disney quest as kids to try and get in as many levels as possible, our challenge was too see who could complete the entire game without dying or having to switch with a new player
"The only Star Wars game where Vader can actually ride the tauntaun"? How very dare you, sir, forget about Lego Star Wars The Complete and Skywalker Saga and their very rideable tauntauns?!
Hi there sir!! I wondered are you open to requests for interviews? I'd love to chat about your YT channel and the gaming videos you've released. I've been a fan for a while and I'd love to get into your journey, approach and outlook on the work you've done. Thanks man!!
Strangely enough the first force unleashed to me fit with the old eu the best. Because by the end of his beat down it kind of makes sense to me why he is so stiff in his movements with obi wan in a new hope. Well that and combined with his duel from coruscant nights 3 and the resurrected Darth Maul.
What I love so much about the fallen order Vader moment and is actually something that despite its criticisms, I really do give a huge amount of credit for Disney That in the new age of Star Wars, they constantly remind you that Darth Vader to the majority of the characters is a horror movie villain. He just appears out of nowhere. No matter how far away you try to get from him, he woke up to you. You don't necessarily win against him. You only survive him and he always leaves a devastating impact on everyone around him. It also adds to the overall narrative about the Dark Side of the force under Disney, in which that it is truly horrific, dark, and terrifying. And I also love the Vader moment when he is exposed of who he truly is, which is this weak? Limbless sad. Pathetic man that just drives this entire power he's behind. Again, I have huge problems with a lot of this stuff that Disney does, but this is one of the true few things they've consistently nailed since they got the property. I just wish similar to Legends. They would actually honor the prophecy that was done in the movies before the Secret trilogy came and before Legends did their stupid thing before that.
In the Force Unleashed 1, the Vader fight there still makes him a lot more challenging as a final encounter, even if you beat his ass in cutscenes. If you choose the Dark Side ending to finish him off, it's especially different, as he will always punish you for jumping or spamming attacks. He's a duelist and he will force you to fight him on his own terms in order to overcome him
Not to mention in the end of fallen order he literally helf back the preassure of an ocean breaking in through the wall of the underwater base. Like he simply tanked the preassure our u-boats are expensively built to resist, with a hand gesture. The level of power he was given there is one that is fotting for the guy that vader is suppose to be in the lore. Like with this framing you get the fear he causes
I really want a Vader focused game where you play as him and do all that stuff he did in the comics like go and slaughter all those sand people just coz he was that pissed off about something.
Inside your playlist about Harry Potter games there's a video unavailable. Could tell which and why? It's a new upload or a old one? I like your videos and, as you probably knows, everytime a channel we follows closely deletes or make unavailable a upload, we go anxious with a backup isn't ready.
I think that was somewhat a failure of the story telling 😂 Lucas even said Earl Jones don't soften his voice or make him more human in the sequels because he isn't anymore.
In masters of Teras Kasi Darth Vader can use a lightning move. It sort of comes from the sky but he does discharge it from his hand initially, so I don't know if that counts. But that's Vader sort of using force lightning.
It's kind of insane how well Fallen Order convinced us that running away from Darth Vader was way cooler than actually having him as a final boss.
I loved that time Vader turned into a giant scorpion in one of the Japanese games.
I. Am your father. And I am also... A fucking scorpion.
I'd rather not remember that.
What the hell did that happen???😂😂
JonTron "excuse me whhhhhhy!????"
Like Spiderman with his gundam suit
James Earl Jones is with the force now may he rest in peace.
Rest In Peace James Earl Jones.
Why didn't you type all of that into one comment? Why bother spreading it out?

His iconic chilling voice will forever be missed. RIP James Earl Jones, May The Force Be With You.
Hearing Vader voiced by other voice actors really makes you appreciate how great and immortal James Earl Jones’ performance is.

Definitely agree with the top moment. He was basically Jedi Jason Voorhees in Fallen Order. Not to mention a big shock to me on my first playthrough.
Seeing Vader in VR was one of the best VR experiences I had on my OG Oculus

This and many of your brilliant videos made me emotional. Thank you, man. You honour our childhoods.
Vader's campaign in Galactic Battlegrounds!
I remember commanding him as my Wingman in TIE Fighter. I was told not to issue any in-flight commands to the Dark Lord.
And him being neatly invincible helps. However, Maarek Stele, your player character, is still the star of the show of the game for good reason.
Man! You took me back with Star Wars Arcade! The Vader fight was so hard!
