I was spoiled with the reveal prior to the game. That scene is like the video game equivalent of Darth Vader’s Rogue One scene at the end.
I watched this scene plenty of times and yet watching it vs PLAYING it gives you a different feel. Still didn’t prepare me enough to feel the goosebumps from “facing” Vader.
Like seriously, any situation on which you have to run from Darth Vader is terrifying. Especially if he is very angry.

Seriously, these writers go overboard sometimes when writing for Vader. Coming out of hyperspace too early and giving the rebels a head start? I can see why that deserved a force choke. Letting the Millenium Falcon escape right under their noses? I can see why that deserved a force choke. Getting mouthy and dissing the Force? I can see why that deserved a force choke. However, simply informing of Vader of the current situation when he lands on the planet? I mean, what was this officer supposed to do?
Vader is villainous enough, he doesn't need to just be blatantly evil.
Allowing us to see the red in Vader’s eyes really ups the Fear factor. Fallen Order just nailed it!

General Yoda, in the older games, his voice sounded like crap. His voice started to get good in TFU.
Edit: His JFO sounded ok, but it wasn’t like the rest of them.

Jeez,fallen order...the vader fight really gave you a sense of hopelessness as you went from slaughtering clones and beating iquisitors to being chased by the most menacing villain in star wars,with no way to fight back..loved it

Seeing Vader in Fallen order was a MASSIVE "Oh sh*t" moment for me. Once I heard the respirator...
And then seeing him in action...using the force so...effortlessly. It really gave a good example of how powerful he really was and even within the game, you could tell he wasnt even really exerting himself, despite what the subtitles said.

The thing I like about fallen order is it shows how weak you are throughout the game, like a couple of stormtroopers can take you down as well as the force being very little of an advantage. Then Vader turns up doing things you’ve never seen and makes you the player want to get out of there because it would be too hard.
Really a shame he wasn't in "Shadows of the Empire" for N64 like he was in the novel. Vader plays a huge role in the novel

Vader was also in the first Battlefront game. (2004)
He wasn't controllable though; he was simply a nearly invincible bot that would walk around the map killing rebels.

I love on “Episode 3 The Video Game” if you battle someone with the same character, it’ll make them different. So if you’re Vader and they’re Vader, they’ll have a blue saber. I really liked the idea and I don’t know why they don’t do that anymore.

If a new star wars game were to ever be released, I feel like it should employ the game mechanics of The Force Unleashed and Fallen Order, mainly because Darth Vader is always strong, but the protagonist can somehow pose a threat

Scott Lawrence is the closest to James Earl Jones in my opinion. He gets the inflection and tone just right. (He’s Vader in Fallen Order and a few other games.)

Fallen Order should come out with a DLC where you get to play as an Inquisitor and hunt down Jedi or something along those lines. Many stories that could be explored relating to the other Inquisitors.

Technically speaking, Darth Vader's first playable appearance was in Masters of Teras Kasi, but... didn't quite capture the full scale of his sheer power. That's through no fault of his own as Teras Kasi was mediocre enough as is so he didn't have much to work with.

The forse unleashed games are old but gold and I still think it's a good game even if it is like 10 years old, it was really ahead of its time
I never realized untill later age how terrifying vader is supposed to be.
Literally the chosen one with great force power and skilled at the lightsaber.
Reduced to being mostly mechanical.
Becoming more akin of a walking heavy tank, slow but powerful movements.
And though he cant fight like before, he somehow compensates for it with a more raw and powerful style of lightsaber combat instead.
Force unleashed is my fav, as it also shows the supposed "chosen" level of force power.
Let alone you feel the raw strength behind his moves and saber combat.
Fallen order did a suprisingly good job too.
Darth Vader, I like him as my one and only favorite villain in Star Wars series, he is truly caped with his red lightsaber, to me, he is iconic, I kind of like it when Marvel has made comics that he appears in, Vader really was the tallest Sith Lord.

Sure, Vader was intimidating in fallen order. I mean, when I realized that in the tactical guide there was a spot after the second and ninth sisters, I thought:"Ok, guess we'll probably fight the grand inquisitor cuz there's no way that we could stand up to vader". Then I heard the breath in the background, and my heart dropped in a way that no other character could have caused it to by just breathing from offscreen. And then he just straight up one shots you if you take too long(my only death in my entire first playthrough lol)
But battlefront 2? I get that it's realistic, but he has no buisness being as strong as he was at one point in that game. In fallen order he kills the second sister. In battlefront 2 he killed everyone else, and the balance, unlike Cal, wisely surrendered.

Man I honestly like force unleashed for wii more. That felt more cinematic. It looked cooler as well. But hey that's just me. And the psp one had those cool historic missions. Where you reenact scenes from star wars films. Like anakin vs obi wan and Darth Vader vs Luke Skywalker

In some of these, he is way too agile. I don’t mind him still retaining some of his movements from before the events of Ep III, but Vader jumping 10 feet in the air and drop kicking people in the face is... awkward. 2017 Battlefront 2 absolutely nailed the way he should move.
