I would buy a Toyota again if they sell direct and I get the car for a lower price. Whoever starts selling direct is probably the manufacturer who will sell the most cars. Dealerships are so greedy and Gms and managers are getting rich off the consumer. No thanks I will wait for them to sell direct to the consumer.
Dealers have over-priced their product beyond the ability of the customer to afford it. The situation will get much worse when customer job loss due to the coming recession will occur. I believe that few auto manufacturing companies will survive unless they act quickly to correct the situation.
Not going to happen in Texas, because it is controlled by the State Dealer Association that lobbies the Texas State Legislature and passes laws to protect dealerships. I addition, all Toyota dealerships in a five state area including Texas must get their cars from a private firm Gulf States Toyota (Wholesaler). They cannot buy directly from the OEM. Gulf States Toyota is owned by The Friedkin Group and is one of the world’s largest independent Toyota distributors, to a collection of award-winning luxury resorts, The Friedkin Group and its portfolio of companies are unified by a shared mission: to inspire best-in-class experiences that go beyond the ordinary.
So ready to see dealers removed from the buying process.
With the extra revenue stream the dealships should receive, maybe they can stop ripping people off on the service end.
Dealers have shown us what they are, ADM THIEVES! CUT THEM OUT COMPLETELY, MAKE THEM SERVICE CENTERS< WITH POSTED PRICES, and ADHERE TO THEM!
When that will happen?
In the eyes of a mechanic, as long as their marketing strategies offers them more opportunities to work on more cars the better. 😁

It too late KIA and HUYNDAI are take over the market.
Let's get to work ❤
Nope. Wishful thinking. US gub'mint won't let that happen.
Why? And more importantly, legally how?
If Tesla can, Toyota can too.
