Bjork is a fan of Aurora, and vice versa. Aurora has slowly overtaken Bjork as my favorite female vocalist/artist over the past 6 years, but only by a very small margin. I've seen Bjork live and I think Aurora is possibly the only person that could top that performance.

I'm very picky when it comes to music. So far I only have three top artists that I would suggest to react to. Obviously more Aurora. The other two are Sasha Alex Sloan and NF. Doesn't matter what song. All of their songs are great to me.
Followed AURORA (no, I'm not shouting, it's how she wants her name credited!) since 2017. She's unique. She reminds me of Elizabeth Fraser from The Cocteau Twins. Not only that, but she wrote this song and its arrangement at age 11. Yes, 11. She writes all her material and directs her own videos in collaboration with a long-time friend. Her sister makes all her outfits for the videos. She's a classically trained dancer as well. She's a national treasure in Norway. My favourite AURORA songs are Black Water Lilies, I Went Too Far, The M*rder Song, Runaway and Queendom. YT has a few live concerts of hers. One was held in a Norwegian forest mid-winter with lanterns and Reindeer, just magical. Another was in a Cathedral which with a choir. There are also a few Capella songs too. Watch them as she's mesmerising, quirky and unique. She's totally immersing herself in the lyrics and music, unaware of the audience. It's just her and the music.
Her voice on her first album also really reminded me of Florence, especially song "Conqueror" (i believe Aurora is not very fond of that song though), but later albums sound less and less like that I would say, and more and more versatile in unique ways (Florence is amazing though, don't get this wrong)

Firstly Diana Ankudinova is a young Russian vocalist who has the most amazing unique captivating chill inducing voice on the planet....there is no one like her. An artist I’ve come to love the last 3-4 years. For your own sake, try listen to the whole concert from Nidarosdomen (the Nidaros Cathedral) - might be one of the best concerts ever… while I wait to attend her concert next week - you may also get to know that Billie Eilish have said something in the line of that Aurora inspired her to become an artist herself…

Bjork is a fan of Aurora, and vice versa. Aurora has slowly overtaken Bjork as my favorite female vocalist/artist over the past 6 years, but only by a very small margin. I've seen Bjork live and I think Aurora is possibly the only person that could top that performance.

I'm very picky when it comes to music. So far I only have three top artists that I would suggest to react to. Obviously more Aurora. The other two are Sasha Alex Sloan and NF. Doesn't matter what song. All of their songs are great to me.
Followed AURORA (no, I'm not shouting, it's how she wants her name credited!) since 2017. She's unique. She reminds me of Elizabeth Fraser from The Cocteau Twins. Not only that, but she wrote this song and its arrangement at age 11. Yes, 11. She writes all her material and directs her own videos in collaboration with a long-time friend. Her sister makes all her outfits for the videos. She's a classically trained dancer as well.
She's a national treasure in Norway. My favourite AURORA songs are Black Water Lilies, I Went Too Far, The M*rder Song, Runaway and Queendom. YT has a few live concerts of hers. One was held in a Norwegian forest mid-winter with lanterns and Reindeer, just magical. Another was in a Cathedral which with a choir. There are also a few Capella songs too. Watch them as she's mesmerising, quirky and unique. She's totally immersing herself in the lyrics and music, unaware of the audience. It's just her and the music.
Listening to AURORA will always give you that at home cozy feeling. A surge of endorphins just take over.
Her voice on her first album also really reminded me of Florence, especially song "Conqueror" (i believe Aurora is not very fond of that song though), but later albums sound less and less like that I would say, and more and more versatile in unique ways (Florence is amazing though, don't get this wrong)

I would also highly recommend a few other artists. Firstly Diana Ankudinova is a young Russian vocalist who has the most amazing unique captivating chill inducing voice on the planet....there is no one like her. Recommend (from her UA-cam page) her cover of Can't Help Falling in Love....use a mask and pause to avoid a copyright strike.
Secondly...Eivor...has an amazing range of genres, but I suggest her song The Last Kingdom. Live at Hammersmith Apollo.
Lastly I would suggest Heilung...they are amazing and have a huge following worldwide. I would suggest LIFA - In Maidjan live, as well as their official video for Anuana.

Idk if you have heard or listened to Fujii Kaze, he is a Japanese singer but I want you to check him out. His most famous song is Shinunoga E Wa, I'm sure you've heard it on social media before, it got viral a few times. Other songs like 'damn' is also a personal favourite of mine.
