My favorite Aurora performance is on The Current (a radio station), the song is "It Happened Quiet". The vocals on this version are absolutely gorgeous.
I love everything Aurora sings honestly, but this particular version is sublime...for me it's partly the connection with Silja Sol. She's not just a backing singer, she helps elevate the mood to an etherial level. It's so hauntingly beautiful.

Not a single expression or movement of hers went by without your face mirroring it. Luckily, your first Aurora video was a live performance. the way she say "dancing" at 6:44 sums up Aurora for me, she literally doesn't care what anyone thinks as she is off in her own world enjoying/feeling the songs she sings
When troubled with a long loveless afternoon, I rewatch this reaction. Heart refilled, I fall in love in two directions. Thank you, Fairy one and Fairy two!

She just destroys me every single time, before even the first chorus : ))))))) But Shhhh... lets keep it our little secret eh? I know I can trust you guys not to tell anyone : P
There is nothing more lovely than a beautiful reaction and analysis to beautiful music by a beautiful person. Thank you for the way you amplify the joy we feel when we listen to great musicians.
If the vocal coach is reacting to the music spontaneously and unscripted, she possesses the most remarkable gift of verbal expression, precise, full of insights, wonderfully descriptive and eloquent.
Love Aurora. For your own enjoyment (ethereal and fairylike experience) you should see as many of her performances (or preferably the whole concert in one take) from the concert in Nidarosdomen (the Nidaros Cathedral) - contains most of my favourite versions of her songs. 😊
Reactions have been a new form of video for some time. However, you have reached a new, unprecedented level in the quality of reactions to videos. There are those who just nod and listen to the song. And those who analyse the song technically at a high level. Your emotions while listening to the song are real. Either you are one of the best actresses in the world or your first reactions to a song are the truth. I firmly believe in my last guess. I'm sticking to the hope that I'm right.
It was so nice seeing you loving on her movements. I’ve seen quite a few vocal coaches criticize it. Personally, i find movement very helpful, so it was nice to have you validate that.
Yes I qued for ages in the wet at Brixton on Wednesday to see her for the first time live. I have all her albums but I cried buckets when she Sang Through the eyes of a child. She has the ability to grab your soul and put it through the ringer. Truly a real talent.
I love your analysis of this song! To have a professional explain the elements and details in the voice and how it’s used, helps me enjoy music even more. Thank you so much for that.
Lolli, I'm so very impressed by you. I was first introduced to your extraordinary talent when I found one of your Angelina Jordan reactions. You not only have the technical acumen to deliver a precise analysis, you have the perfect, cheery personality to keep us captivated. Your virtuosity really matches that of the singers you critique.
Followed AURORA (no, I'm not shouting, it's how she wants her name credited!) since 2017. She's unique. She reminds me of Elizabeth Fraser from The Cocteau Twins. She comes from a musical. She started playing the piano at 5. She composed and arranged 'Runaway' at the age of 11. She writes all her material and directs her own videos in collaboration with a long-time friend. Her sister makes all her outfits for the videos. She's a classically trained dancer as well. She's a national treasure in Norway. My favourite AURORA songs are Black Water Lilies, I Went Too Far, The M*rder Song, Runaway and Queendom. YT has a few live concerts of hers. One was held in a Norwegian forest mid-winter with lanterns and Reindeer, just magical. Another was in a Cathedral with a choir. There are also a few Capella songs too. Watch them as she's mesmerising, quirky and unique. She totally immerses herself in the lyrics and music, unaware of the audience in front of her. It's just her and the music at that particular point in time.
Not to knock other vocal coaches who do reactions, but your voice and impressions on the spot are so well...spot on compared to most. Impressive, and incredibly entertaining to watch.
I am consistently amazed at your ability to enjoy something deeply but also to absorb, analyze and explain whatever vocals you hear, instantly & anatomically. You are incomparable, FVM. Indeed the mother of most future voice fairies.
Yours is the best reaction I’ve EVER seen to any song ever. I subscribed just from this video. You were 100% spot on. Her vocals give me chills every time and your reaction to them gave me extra chills. Love it.
I'm so pleased that you enjoyed Aurora's performance. I was introduced to her by Billie Eilish and have been a fan ever since. "Running with the Wolves" is my personal favorite, but really, anything Aurora puts voice to is well worth a listen. Thanks for this reaction.
Aurora is really special. And to see you react like this, as you do, makes us appreciate it even more if possible. It seems that her fairy nature is communicative: all your joys and surprises can be seen on your face and in your body language, too. And we can tell that you really savored this video of Aurora. And I loved yours
Yes this really came across to me too. I've watched a lot of people react to Aurora because I just love feeling like I'm sharing the experience with someone. I tuned in to Aurora pretty quickly and this is the first time I've seen a youtuber have that same experience. As I said in my comment, Aurora should be shot into the stratosphere and sprinkled all over the Earth, and it feels like The Fairy Voice Mother might be able to help with that (like what else does a fairy voice mother do? haha)
Aurora imbeds her mind and body so deeply into her live performances you will notice at the end, she has to take a moment, almost as coming out of a trance.
I watch a LOT of reaction videos, and I have to say that your analysis and insights were the most thorough but also most understandable to someone who isn’t trained. Thanks!
Listen to this perticular performance for seven years now and it gives so much emotions and expression that i everytime get my soul and heart so much calmness. It's so nice to you reacting and analysing my Soulhealer. Thank you dear!!!
This was a shockingly brilliant introduction for me to a reactor that REALLY knows what she's talking about. You appear to be an exceptionally good singer and coach yourself. You do not only engage in cuddly talk and subjective reactions. You also have the knowledge, talent, and real wisdom. So incredibly informative and fascinating. You are a member of a small exclusive group of gold-certified youtube reactors, which gives the term actual meaning. This was truly enlightening. Thank you!!!
I'm always amazed by how well you're able to recreate a singer's voice. It's because you know exactly how they're singing, technique wise, of course, but, still, it's fascinating to see and hear you do it. :-) I'd love to see you react to and analyze more of Aurora.
The first time I saw Aurora's music video for Runaway I broke down crying tears of both joy and sorrow as it felt like someone had finally put it all together. There's this profound nostalgia, literally the pain for a homeland that can't be returned to. For me it was someone else expressing "we're not from here" in a hauntingly familiar way.
Beautiful insightful reaction. Judging by how much joy this performance has given you I would invite you to continue this journey. Every and any performance is worth watching and hearing and each will give you the very same feeling of emotions. Murder Song from this same concert is a MUST see....

You're the best reactor on UA-cam. I love watching you just losing yourself to the music.
One question 🤔. Why aren't you making music yourself? Your voice is wonderful 💖
Always a pleasure to watch your channel. I won't repeat what everyone compliments you about even so I'm very much in agreement, I'll just wonder what vocal techniques will finally stump you, if they even exist. I'm always impressed by the versatility of your knowledge and abilities. Do you rap also? Oh my, it'd be a fun reaction! Let's see, something without language... ua-cam.com/video/kujarR4rpJg/v-deo.html&ab_channel=JRLyrics
I dare you! lol
Take care
@@geofthompson3844 Lolli is, I think...she's got a few more irons in the fire than just the FGM channel.
Dimash-Ave Maria 🔥 new
You seem to have a deeply empathic relationship with music and musical performance. This pleases us. Love your reactions.
My favorite reactor watching my favorite voice artist. Awesome
I'm sure people will recommend many other Aurora songs to you.
I think you will love "It Happened Quiet" live at The Current.
Take Care
That's a great performance by AURORA!
@@kippys1 It is a great performance and song. It's certainly a performance especially suitable for a vocal coach and I think this coach in particular.
Yes!! Please react to this one. :)
You nailed Aurora. A most authentic person and frighteningly smart and talented. Welcome to the Queendom.
your uncanny ability to take in all the details in such a short view of something is pretty amazing
The way you copy her sounds is actually insane, i can't believe how good you are to reproduce notes
the way she say "dancing" at 6:44 sums up Aurora for me, she literally doesn't care what anyone thinks as she is off in her own world enjoying/feeling the songs she sings
It constantly amazes me how well and quickly you can demonstrate so many different singing techniques/approaches.
When troubled with a long loveless afternoon, I rewatch this reaction. Heart refilled, I fall in love in two directions. Thank you, Fairy one and Fairy two!
This performance moved me more than anything I’ve seen in a long time. And I have watched this performance before a couple of years ago… But I seem to grasp it more now… Just amazing…
i'm literally in love with you, you don't just listen to the sound but to her voice.
49 year old male... unashamed to admit to you guys that I choke up and find myself close to tears every time I hear Aurora sing this. She just destroys me every single time, before even the first chorus : )))))))
But Shhhh... lets keep it our little secret eh? I know I can trust you guys not to tell anyone : P
how beautiful is this song, and you as a person, thank you so much.
ur honestly one of the best vocal coaches on here, so underrated ! i recommend her song “it happened quiet” live at the current. it’s amazing.
There is nothing more lovely than a beautiful reaction and analysis to beautiful music by a beautiful person. Thank you for the way you amplify the joy we feel when we listen to great musicians.
Hear, hear.
Your analysis of Aurora's voice and performance is brilliant. i learn so much from your analyses in general. Thank you.
If the vocal coach is reacting to the music spontaneously and unscripted, she possesses the most remarkable gift of verbal expression, precise, full of insights, wonderfully descriptive and eloquent.
The best reaction to Aurora I've ever heard. Like her, you are yourself uniquely expressive.Thank you!
I absolutely love the "rawness" of your reactions! Thank You 'Fairy Voice Mother' :-)
I continue to be amazed at all you pick up on and are able to describe.
Love Aurora. For your own enjoyment (ethereal and fairylike experience) you should see as many of her performances (or preferably the whole concert in one take) from the concert in Nidarosdomen (the Nidaros Cathedral) - contains most of my favourite versions of her songs. 😊
It's a magical experience but she was still a bit nasal sometimes TBH. She improved vocally since then.
👍👍👍
Im here again 😭😭😭 please do more AURORA reacts please
Ps. Love you ❤
Reactions have been a new form of video for some time.
Norwegian is one of the sing song languages, so what you said about the way she speaks is spot on. :D
Oh hell yes! I hoped that you would check Aurora out, she's amazing! So hyped to see your reaction!
What a gorgeous human you are. I hope to see more Aurora from you…. I love your in-depth explanation of her voice and what’s happening and why.
Goodness, what an amazing analysis of it all.
This reactor is the Aurora version of reactors. Mystical magical creatures.
It was so nice seeing you loving on her movements. I’ve seen quite a few vocal coaches criticize it. Personally, i find movement very helpful, so it was nice to have you validate that.
Aurora is the only singer I have ever seen that is emotional on every word that comes out of her mouth. She is absolutely incredible
im literally getting waves of chills every 3 seconds
Thanks!
yesss, i waited for this :) "aurora - it happened quiet (live at the current)" would be great
It’s pretty cool to hear all the right words for how I appreciate the song. Chills thank you for the break down
Listen to this perticular performance for seven years now and it gives so much emotions and expression that i everytime get my soul and heart so much calmness. It's so nice to you reacting and analysing my Soulhealer. Thank you dear!!!
A couple more of hers, and it can be a cry alert, just to let you know ❤️ Lucky is one good one ❤️ Live at Nidarosdomen ❤️
YOU are gorgeous for letting us be part of your reaction and your, very much so, fairy-being itself ❤️
I'm obsessed with you giving samples by singing. This is wholesome.
Just go ahead and react to all her songs I don't think people would mind
I'm always amazed by how well you're able to recreate a singer's voice. It's because you know exactly how they're singing, technique wise, of course, but, still, it's fascinating to see and hear you do it. :-)
I'd love to see you react to and analyze more of Aurora.
I so needed my FVM fix. . . . So what a delightful surprise to find a talent like Aurora, as I went back into the FVM catalog. Truly moving performance. . . And your reaction and exquisite musical breakdown made my morning. You're so good and so engaging, that you are yourself a natural, gifted communicator. . . Plain and simple. . . . Your love of music shines through. . . which resonates with those of us who feel the same way. Love ❤ you so much. . . BTW, You're hair style is so captivatingly beautiful... stunningly gorgeous. . . Like a fairy princess. 🧚♂️ 👑 .... ✌🙏👍🇺🇸🇩🇰🏴☠️
I have heard a 1000 times and Ill admit I'm one of them, her voice is so powerful yet so soft. It is amazing that you picked up from this song that she is like Nature, Aurora has says many times she feels that we all need to be more connected to Nature. She 100% is!!
Ohmygosh this finally happened! Thank you so soo much for watching this particular performance. She’s a goddess…
I just found your channel and I’m hooked. I used to sing before having children but have put it to the back of mind for a long time, I’d like to start it again. Your reactions are like watching the inside of mind, it’s so refreshing and inspiring to see someone be so obviously moved and not feel compelled to mask their reactions. I’d love to hear more of you singing.
Aurora is a dangerously wonderful road. Just as she embodies freedom in a song like this, be ready to see the genuine weight hanging on someone during a heavy song as well. Absolutely beautiful experience all around.
"Murder Song" and "It Happened Quiet" should be next on your list.
I LOVE Aurora, all her performances are just superb. I'd like to recommend you to react to through the eyes of a child live at nidarosdomen cathedral, that song will make you cry.
Here's the link if you want to check it out

Yay, been waiting for an Aurora reaction from you! It was great, your analyzing and educating skills are amazing. And yes, for me Aurora makes life changing music, it's just that great and I hope you get back to do more of her some time in the future.
Love listening to YOU sing, Fairy Voice Mother! ❤
Her performances of ‘across the universe’ and ‘life on mats’ are out of this world. I hope you react to them!! Love this video
Life on Mars lol
She wrote the lyrics to Runaway when she was 11 yrs old. Let that sink in. I love her voice and seeing her perform adds an entirely new dimension where not only the music but her body movements express so much more emotion and becomes nigh unto a spiritual experience. Any of the other referenced songs here and definitely the full concert in Nidarosdomen are a must see/listen.
Watching your enjoyment of this, while her goosebump-inducing voice gave you such joy, moved me to tears.
You’re always so spot on. Love watching you
…you’re soooo entertaining and esp funny.
But my favorite thing is watching you just smile so big when you’re listening to someone just kill it… like aurora.
Brilliant.
man i love your vibe!
Nothing better than a woman that can sing angelic and expressive. That includes you fairy voice mother. ❤
She’s an amazing artist. The lyrics of her songs and her voice are just beautiful please react to it happened quiet or murder song from the nobel peace price concert.
"It happened quiet" was not part of the Nobel Peace Prize Concert.
@@i_am_m3384 Correct - the performance of It Happened Quiet at the Nidarosdomen concert or live at the Current would be great to react to.
@@i_am_m3384 yep thanks I should of ordered the songs name in reverse 😄
Holy crap just you describing how she holds her mouth and resonates… I can’t believe the difference I can hear in my own voice trying to do the same. It’s been wayyyyyy too long since I’ve had any vocal lessons. Thanks.
AURORA is Love
