Wow Bianca, thanks for that nice video. I was playing with the thought of buying the S8 Standard, but i wanted to watch a video about it before. I was shocked to see that literally no one made one about it, only S8+ and Ultra. You and The Everyday Dad are the only two people who did that (in the english- and german speaking section.

Hello! Hope you're doing great. Been binge watching tons of unboxing videos, and you're one of the very few who actually got the base s8 model (which I think gets overlooked a lot because of the Ultra)
Anyway, just wanna ask how it's been holding up after a month of usage? Battery life and performance wise? And did the screen size bother you? (like did you ever think it's too small or lacking)
Hope you'll notice this. I've been in a huge dilemma between s8 and s7 fe and hearing insights from actual users would be a huge help. 🙏🏻💕
Hi there! After a month of use, it’s held up really well. I honestly really love the form factor of 11 inch tablets. It’s kind of perfect to use as a tablet and not too small to use as a computer. But sometimes when I use DeX just on the tablet, it may feel like a bit cramped at times but still overall a great experience. And you can always hook it up to an external display if you want to fully utilize DeX. Battery life is great, performance is great for both games and photo editing. The only thing I haven’t tried out is video editing because I’m waiting for Lumafusion’s release on Android. And I am obsessed with the 120Hz panel. It looks so good and smooth regardless of the screen not being OLED it still looks amazing. Hope this helps! I’ll be posting a review in the next week or so. At least for the local market (Canada) the Air beats it in one category. Cellular. Samsung offers no S8 product with an lte/5g modem here.
I ordered the S8 to see if it could replace my 5g equipped iPad. But damn, once you go always connected, it's hard to go back.
Any problem with combo touch trackpad freezing?

you might want to get one of those paperlike screenguard, Bianca. The writing experience with your S pen will be much better
I've been watching a lot of reviews and checking the reviews of the S pen, I really don't recommend paperlike screens with the S pen if you don't want to be replacing the nibs constantly
The nibs are rubber, so they're already not super durable, and paperlike screens wear down the pens faster than glass protectors.
ESPECIALLY the brand name Paperlike, which is an absolute garbage matte screen protector compared to other brands or knock offs
