Just last week I got to use it during a meeting, sharing the screen on ms teams and using the S pen to draw up some examples. Yeah! It's a great little feature! it can be a bit wonky to set up though :D I def recommend usb-c with duet display. So instead of wireless then having the wired connection makes it a lot better. I'm not sure if that's something samsung supports natively. But I use duet display with my macbook which works great!
did you use a tempered glass or a film to protect the screen? if so what branddd! It would be good if you make a must have accessories for the tab! great vid!
Im iPad user looking to replace my rented one soon. Samsung have really good deals in my country, I can get S8 ultra with 12/256 and 5G for same price as basic configuration iPad Pro 11", S8+ 8/128 is mostly for same price as basic Air 5 and regular S8 with 8/128 is cheaper than iPad 9 with 256GB storage... So I really loking for that Samsung tablets, I going to showroom today, I have to try S8+ and Ultra. I will do final decision after WWDC as there are expected changes to iPadOS multitasing.
when you scroll side by side and the 60Hz screen lagging its not the screen refresh rate that do that lag it's the CPU that run out of buffer memory! plus you can't see the difference in a youtube video because youtube use 60hz

In one of your videos, you changed the storage for Call of Duty to your SD card. How did you manage to do this? I have an app on the same tablet, with a game with the size 3GB and my SD card has 256GB and when I tried to do what you did, it got to 90% and then the message popped up to say that there is not enough space. ???? I was trying to do this, because most of the internal storage is taken up by apps. My internal storage on the tablet is 128GB. Does it have to do with what kind of SD card you have?? Mine is Samsung Pro Plus 256GB.

The problem with Android is that it is Foolgle - between it being basically data collection device for Foolgle and the bad apps - it's a nonstarter no matter how great the hardware is.

The only thing I hate about this lineup is cellular! The regular s8 does NOT have cellular data! Only the S8+ and up have that feature. The SIM card a lot is blocked on the regular s8 only allowing you to add a storage card.

Depends on price. S8 has no real advantage over S7+, unless you want smaller size. For me, the 12.4in display of the 7+ beats the 11 inch s8 any day. If they are same price, I would opt for Tab S7+.
I got the tab s8 as a laptop replacement Been loving it so far, s7+ has larger oled display while s8 has more ram new soc and longer support betetr battery which means better longevity as well
Did you turn on the Dolby Atmos? I have the S8+ and the sound gets a considerable bump and sounds alot more fuller. Great review!

Try turning on Dolby Atmos, and you can almost double the volume thanks to the built-in equalizer and also an app like Wavelet.

Most SSDs come with a usb c to c cable, I usually just use that. For external hard drives I attach my dongle.
For some, the LCD screen is a deal breaker.

How is the display? I heard that the screen has a terrible yellowish tint once the blue light filter is turned on since it isn't amoled.
