    Just bought a lightly used bike with one of these and I was on my tippy toes at 180mm. Thanks for explaining how to adjust it!

    Thanks for the no nonsense demonstration . This is the very first dropper I've ever bought and was a bit confused with the manual , you made this incredibly simple , thanks.

      No thanks needed!! This is a great seatpost. Not many that we can actually work on and set the length.

    Just installed one of these onto my Diamondback Mason FS. Was surprised it came with separate spacers instead of that adjustment bushing. The manual was telling me to unscrew the bottom and pull the post out but I managed to just unscrew the top collar, pull the bushing out and drop the spacers in. Works great though! Usually I run PNW droppers but this one is super nice. At 150mm it’s the perfect height fully extended, 180mm was just a bit too tall for me.

      Compared to the Loam lever, this one is a nice alternative. Though both of the levers are probably the best out there

      Good to hear. Yes the lever on this is quite nice. They must have changed the design a bit since I had mine if it had adjustment bushings.

    I am about to get one of these as my Race Face Turbine got an air leak problem that could not be fixed, I wonder if this one could have the same issue! Thanks for the video!

    • @WattOnWheels
      @WattOnWheels  2 роки тому

      Hhmm. I know the Turbine have had an issue with the internal mechanism needing adjusted often. That model used an internal "brake" to hold the dropper position. I've still had zero issues with my E thirteen.

    Hello. Have you been using Vario on your new bike yet? If so, how is it performing for you?

    • @WattOnWheels

      I have been! its lived on the Guerrilla Gravity since it was built. It is working very well for me. I have not had to do any extra maintenance to it yet. It still feels very smooth without any scratchiness to the slide bushings so far. I would purchase this post again if I were in need of one.

      @@georgedelis2278 if you are using the newer style you still need the main top bushing then you can add and subtract the 5mm bushing rings below.

    I am wondering how the wire is attatched to the seat post. how is the steel wire linked/connected? I couldn't find a manual..

    • @WattOnWheels
      @WattOnWheels  3 роки тому +1

      It uses a derailleur cable. The ferrule end hooks in to the actuation lever at the bottom of the post. The lever on the Handlebar uses a pinch bolt to secure the other end to the thumb lever.

    There are complaints about the speed of return, and also you haven't mentioned that there is no speed adjustment. I think this is more important than what graphics on the post.

    • @WattOnWheels
      @WattOnWheels  3 роки тому +1

      Ok, true I did not mention that there is not a separate speed adjustment. I did say it is a sealed cartridge design. To my knowledge, no sealed cartridge design has speed adjustments. I can report that that speed and lockout on this dropper has not changed one bit since it was new. The speed may not be up to some people's ideals, but the consistency and durability has been better than most. (I can't say all, since I have not tried them all).
