So I had the older mechanical TRS+ dropper post and was looking to rebuild it. Couldn't find a kit and contacted e*13 support. They informed me that they discontinued that post and were out of rebuild kits. They offered me a discount code to buy the updated post at half price if I send back the old one. Even being the second owner and no proof of purchase due to buying of FB market place. That was all in one day over a few emails too. No hassle what so ever. They are even paying for the return shipping. I'll keep buying e*13 because of their unparalleled customer support.
Sometimes the right size for a rider and their bike still sticks up from the top of the seat tube a few CMs. These help get the right size more right ; )
Some frames might not have a long enough seat tube to put the post down further. Or, at full extension the seat could be too high for the rider. So for example, a 125mm dropper might not offer enough travel for someone, but 150mm won't fit given their saddle and seat post constraints. Adjustable travel posts allow folks to get the maximize travel somewhere in between.

Nice, glad to hear they took care of you!
Wow they both look pretty good, but I agree with you out of the two. The speed in which it works is impressive. Oh yeah and quite too.
Thanks bro!
The correct answer is 'get the right size and buy a Brand X'. Or if you want to splash the cash buy a OneUp.

Why do you not put the posts all the way down in the frame and then adjust the collar? Don't you want the seat out of the way AMAP?
