- This thing WORKS. It's exactly what I was looking for. It's very responsive to the touch, works great with Siri and I can also control my Cardo via voice or touchscreen.
Ordered it through Carpuride's website and received it from China (to Los Angeles) in about 7 days from time of order.
For the price, it cannot be beat.

That is super sweet!! And it actually looks pretty kickass on the mount! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks and you bet. Cheers man!
Indeed I like mine and for that price hard to beat, I use Waze via the Android Auto and put a wireless charging pad in the cubby so my phone is charging while riding
Ya, first impression on it is very positive. We'll see how it goes but I'm impressed.
Waze is good for basic nav, but for motorcycle routes I like MyRouteApp and it supports Android Auto.
Love my Carpuride W702. Just needed something simple to mirror my phone capabilities on a larger screen. Keeps my phone safely tucked away. Have used Garmin forever, but just couldn't justify the price for a separate standalone unit. The 5 inch definitely looks better on your ride, the 7 would be too big. I need the bigger screen for the old eyes, lol. I added a matte screen protector to mine since the glare was a bit much. Safe riding!
Totally. I've nejoyed the 502B so far. Easy install. Straight forward operation and just love carplay. The Garmins of the world are going to be obsolete within 5 years. New generation doesn't use them when their phones keep getting more capable and do everything traditonal navs do. I mean, just look at the marketshare declines throughout the years.
Cheers!
So you connect the Cardo to the phone 1st. Then you connect the phone to the Carpuride. So the phone has two bluetooth connections going?
Cardo to phone 1st via BT. Phone to Carpuride 2nd via WIFI.
I am seriously considering getting one for my R 1300 GS too. Can you please tell me if it obscures the rev counter from the rider’s POV?
It does not. I'm 5'10.
Received my W702B today! Mount it on the original BMW bracket, everything worked perfect thanks to your tips and advices. The only concern I have is that it vibrates on the road and with the motorcycle engine. Any recommendations to improve this?
Glad it helped! Unfortunately, I can’t help you on the vibration as mine doesn’t do it. Maybe the weight and size of the 702 puts added stress on the dock and causes it to flex/vibrate more than the 502…
@@MotoPapa88 Yeah, for sure the 7 inch adds weight and stress on the bracket. Thank you very much.
COMO CONECTASTE EL CARDO AL CARPURIDE ?
I state it in the video. You don't. Cardo to Phone, phone to Carpuride.
Can Apple Music be installed on it?
Nothing can be installed on it. It's a mirror of your phone so if you have it on your phone, you can play it on the Carpuride.
@@MotoPapa88 oh wow, that’s pretty awesome. Thanks for replying
Don't beleive the hype not suitable if you ride in the rain, lets water in and it dies
I don't ride in the rain so I have no issues there.
Isn’t it rated IP67 ?
@@jean-lucjourdan7227 I guess the rain didn't get the memo
This is not a navigator because you need Apple Play or Android Play to navigate. Without your mobile phone it is not possible to create a route to your destination. So worthless and also because you cannot load a .gpx file on this display thing. (" navigator ").
You clearly didn't watch the video or you can't comprehend...its a CarPlay screen, not a navigator. It's not worthless. Actually, because its 2024 and everyone uses their phones these days, people are ditching the TomToms and Garmins for the Carpurides and Chigees of the world. I don't need a navigator. I have a phone that does everything for me. I also use a route navigation app that has preset routes I have created of my overlanding expeditions. We all use our phones. So have an open mind instead of saying it's worthless.
@@MotoPapa88 Completely agree
You can do all this!! As U do it on your phone, that’s the whole point 😅
