- This is a set up tutorial video for the Panasonic Lumix s5ii kit for Cinematic video and photography. I also show how Customize the settings to your liking. I think the same can be done for the Lumix s5iix. Learn how to change the button and dials for full custom camera.

Your setup is great but it would be helpful to do another video on HOW you set them up from scratch. S5iix can't load your setting
Hey bud, great video. Super useful. Also, at around 7:38, that button is the exposure compensation button. It means thag if your using one of the semi automatic modes you still change your exposure. 😊

Nice vid ! Yo, question for you... In photo mode, do you know how to enable the camera to snap-on / focus by half-pressing the Shutter button ?! I shoot Fuji for stills so, shooting photos on the Lumix has been a challenge. I love my S5ii for video but, getting the stills side setup even somewhat close to the Fuji has not been easy lol.
is there a way one can disable the shutter button from recording? thnx

How do you set up a custom button to change between two picture profiles (in which menu)? And ould you add a third picture profile and simply switch through them by pressing the custom button?
Which settings would you suggest changing?

Settings file doesn’t work. Says it can’t load. You figure out a solution?
I have a question, when you click on record, does it take a second for the camera to start the recording??
Because mine does….
Mine does now. For me, Whenever I shoot something and try to play it back it takes a second.

I've tried to get my S5ii to ONLY record 2 channels of audio but I can't find a setting to do that. Is there a way or are we waiting for a firmware update.
I am not so sure. You might know this already, but if you find it annoying in your work flow like I have I just select all my clips and interpret the footage with only 2 even 1 audio channel

@@AaronArao yea you can do it in DaVinci as well.
I tried to load the settings onto my S5IIX and it shows up but won't let me load it. Perhaps it's because they run two different firmwares.

tried to download the file settings loaded it into camera but no file there to load ?
Thanks for finding this issue. I updated the link. You need to download the entire folder named "AD_LUMIX" to the sd card. Otherwise the camera won't be able to find it

@AaronArao still no luck I'm using mac os downloaded the folder as mentioned dragged and dropped onto s5mk2 cones up with no camera setting file
@@mcmediaandfilm dang, is the folder outside of the "DCIM," "MISC," and "PRIVATE" folders?
