- Welcome back! I'm on a 50 lb weight loss journey 2021 where I'm trying to lose 50 lbs in a year. This past week I was in Atlanta. I went with some of my friends and trying to lose weight while on vacation is not the easiest! However, on this trip I decided not to associate with an old friend anymore. I know my worth and my worth is to not keep being disrespected and gas lighted.
My weigh in day is on Tuesdays and it showed that I went up to 232.4 lbs. I knew that this was water weight and was not concerned about it. I weighed myself Wednesday morning and I weighed 230 lbs even. My goal for next week is to be 227 lbs.

Personal therapy doing it’s thing with you being able to walk on the treadmill again! 🥳 I’m glad that overall you had a good time despite the fall out on Saturday. That was a very extensive story and I couldn’t imagine being in that situation you’ve had with him. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with not being into museums or gardens or art related spots. Everyone has their own interests and nobody is more “woke” than someone else just because they enjoy those things. Yikes! Quite the story. Sometimes we hang on to friends who are toxic because we have a long history with them. Life is too short for that! If someone is consistently unkind or demonstrates a lack of regard I don't waste time on them.
Yup life is too short to hold on to those kinds of people. I don’t regret being friends with him but I can no longer stay friends with him.

Yeah, don't stress about vacation gain, you'll be right back to it in no time. That story was wild. But sometimes you gotta cut toxic people.
Yeah I’m not stressing out about the vacation gain as long as it’s not the 15lb gain I had with them when we went to LA for Labor Day weekend 😂 Bringing the scale and weighing myself daily definitely helped with managing my weight gain 😊
Two lbs on vacay is ok. I think.

I've been in this situation.....I lost the friendship because I choose my peace over everything and she made my trip a disaster because she felt I was gonna walk on eggshells for her because shes quick tempered!!! I said "Girl go to hell!"....my last words!
