When I watched this video for the first time I had one monstera... Now, a few months later, I have 14😊 And I keep on watching this video so I'm sure I'll have more soon. Thanks for the inspiration!
omg my subpinnatas and obliqua peru have been so prone to runners, just like yours! My obliqua lost all its leaves and then I finally just got fed up and chopped it up. It's now resprouting, so hopefully it will be happy enough to put out some normal growth. My subpinnatas finally started putting out some normal leaves, and I've just potted all three of them onto the same moss pole, so hopefully they'll start to fill out and actually start looking attractive! Still having a hard time getting my siltepecana to size up though. No runners, but it's about 1.5 m up a moss pole and still no sign of sizing up. My Thai Con is doing wonderfully though and proving to be the easiest of my monsteras!
Omg, I didn’t realize that there were so many varieties of the Monstera plant. They’re by far my favorites along with orchids. Let’s just say, I love all plants, lol. Absolutely love your collection and your yard. Thank you for sharing!! 💕👍
Monsteras are near and dear to my heart. My second plant ever is a Monstera that I still have to this day. I'm so happy to have connected with another Monstera enthusiast!

Hi Joanne! Thank you for the compliment! I discovered Pafcal while looking for Monstera obliqua mixes--I believe it was someone from Europe who used it in their mix. It is a reusable product that has a lifespan of about 10 years. It has a spongy quality to it and so far all my plants respond well to it. Just an amazing product to aid in rooting and keeping difficult plants. Will be making an update video featuring the yellow variegated Monstera and a Rhaphidophora pertusa. I hope you check back in a few weeks for it, but will try to revisit this comment to let you know when it is up :)
