Doctor Who - Dimensions In Time - Rare Unseen Footage

Unseen since it was first recorded in 1993, much of this footage is extremely rare - and is only now seeing the light of day. Clips are mostly taken from VHS copies of the original rushes tapes.

'Dimensions in Time' was a charity special crossover between the British science fiction television series and the soap opera EastEnders that ran in two parts on 26 and 27 November 1993. It was filmed on the EastEnders Albert Square set, and features several of the stars of that programme at the time. Produced for the Children in Need charity, following Doctor Who's hiatus in 1989 this special was the only dramatisation broadcast in celebration of the show's 30th anniversary.
'Dimensions in Time' achieved viewing figures of 13.8 million viewers for the first part and 13.6 million for the second part, making them two of the most highly watched episodes of Doctor Who ever produced.
