“The long journey was to Vancouver. It took them _three years.”_
For some reason that one really got me!
'This implies that Doctor Who is an apple.' Brilliant.
Tennant had apple hair
Splendid notes, all of them!
"Kate O'Mara, seen here as the Rani ... is an actress."
10/10. Laughed too hard.
This is solid gold. SOLID GOLD. Brilliant work.
And educational, too. I, for one, hadn't realized that Jon Pertwee was a trademark! The more you know, eh?
Every time I see Dimensions in Time I like it just that little bit more.
"MADAM, WHAT YEAR ITH THITH?" Ha ha ha, fantastic!
You've surpassed yourself. I kept having to take extra sips of tea to have something to spit out. Utterly brilliant. Please, please more.
This is still one of my favourite videos on the internet.
Actual tears of laughter streaming down my face. Sheer perfection.
I find it funny that the best companion in this entire thing WAS MEL AND SHE WAS KNOWN FOR SCREAMING HER ASS OFF
This is the funniest Doctor Who-related thing I've ever see. And I've seen Torchwood: Miracle Day. I was crying all the way through that. (And through your video as well.)
Personally i like to think this was all a dream/nightmare that the Doctor had after watching too much Eastenders.
actually this is canon
stekenxu actually, no it isn’t
love this, made the ep soo much better
The bit with Pertwee and Sarah Jane is magic. Ahh.
Would have been better if it was Tom Baker with Sarah-Jane.
Extremely funny and I for one would pay to see you do production notes on several other "WHO" stories.
Oh my, so much better than the uncaptioned version! First time in years I've been able to watch it!
i think it's very fun to watch even if no one regards it as canon :)
"Well I seem them throwing out of the Vic, but never dragged in!" This is a funny line from Frank Butcher. It is an interesting story and slightly amusing. The production notes are funny and well written. Gernimo!!!!
I've missed you.
Absolutely fantastic :-)
brilliant!
just brilliant
"I---I mean we, are very difficult to get rid of!"
True! Next year, the Doctor is already with us for 50 years!
Thanks to a Radio Times article, I know understand the "Zamwest" joke!
I have to say i watched this all the way through. Hilarious!
So glad I clicked on this, it had me LOL, and it's cheered me up no end. Well done sir.
couldn't stop laughing...tremendous
"I'm the best...I'm the best."
i find this fun to watch, however it stuns me on how which doctors got the most parts:
Jon was the oldest, and he was in it the most
Tom was the one who really wanted to be the Doctor again (see Dark Dimension) and got a 1-minute part
Peter I don't know what to say he bridged the episodes if you like
Colin was fired from the BBC, and yet he got a lot of parts two
Sylvester despite being the main doctor at the time, didnt get a lot either
So pretty much the story is messed up
Basically your only actual point is about Tom, which doesn't make any sense as he was probably the least interested.
They probably didn't have Tom there very long since Lalla was there as well and those two were on major outs (as in they couldn't be in the same room without yelling outs)
@dwho1994 No, it was a reference to the myth that Pinter appeared in The Abominable Snowmen.
What happened to that genius teenager, we met in the 60's? Had Susan been lurking around with the primitives for so long that she forgot that Time Lords regenerate? She didn't seem to be the least bit upset that her Grandfather had abandoned her on this Nimon forsaken rock all those years ago in the future. Forgive and forget the abandonment on a backward planet... why you look different?!?
@someone332 What a lovely thing to say! Thanks :)
Why do I feel like this is missing Tom Servo, Crow, and Mike Nelson?
Every time *I* see Dimensions in Time, I die inside just a little bit more...
Except for the bit with Lalla Ward. That's worth the pain.
genius!
@brandynigma Agreed. He's clearly the best actor of the bunch.
You're right: he definitely won. And Perters' BIG LINE is definitely treated correctly here! Should've been the title of his autobiography, or at least his catchphrase: sod 'reverse the polarity'.
WELL DONE ANDREW
Dimensions in Time is truly awful. but I made it through your version without going into spasm even once. Laughed a lot too. Excellent stuff!
There really wasn't enough Peri in that - and by that I mean 'jiggling in Lycra'.
Brilliant. Now I never have to watch the original version again.
Where did you get the big ron sequence from. I have never seen it before
1:15 I tried to search fooble on the Tardis wikia, but I found nothing!
Hey! This is different to the one I've seen - it has big Ron in it and I thought he lost the public vote?!
that's the point it say on screen oh Mandy(who won), has put on weight. They will have filmed both this has the other one in instead.
This scene was shot on a Thursday. Or was a Tuesday... Hang on I'll just check. (Sometime late) It was a Monday. LOL.
ejcmoorhouse ++++++++++++++++++++++++++
What did you think of Torchwood: Miracle Day? Yay or nay?
IT'S 2013!!
Bloody hell, Big Ron! that alone makes this worth faveing! Oh yeas
h the comments were okay ;p
9:05 Where did you get that clip? I didn't know it had been released publicly.
It looks like it's from an old off-air VHS tape.
3:11 So funny!
lol very funny, was the Harold Pinter a Red Dwarf reference?
is this relly comeing out on dvd?
Good grief, I had to mute the sound and scroll the page down to obscure all but the subs to get through that. I'd forgotten how bad DiT was considering I watched it many times as a wee lad. Trauma.
MADAM WHAT YEAR IS THITH
Finally got to watch it..I'm still laughing over WHOSE THAT TERRIBLE ACTRESS "😆😆
'Excuse me madam, what year ith thith?'
2013 looks a lot like the 80s.
90s
Except he never said 'Excuse me.' Damn it.
"written, typeset and who was that terrible woman by Andrew Orton"
I thought you said your name was Tony!!!
kush is mum lol
its cool to see all the old companions again but the whole thing seems mad rushed. it should have been a better story at least 60-90min long. 13-14min is totally rushing it.lol
You've almost made me want to watch all of Dimensions in Time.
The attempt at 3D and moving the camera constantly makes me feel a bit sick. Or it could just be the acting or what passes as "story".
And the tenth Doctor looked back on this special and said, "I am sorry. I am so sorry".
...Why was this even made?
This is the only proper way Dimension in Time should and could be watched.
Davison won!
I rather liked dimensions in time, it has its failings but the central concept is delightfully mad, unfortunately so was the direction
B-but Colin is a great Doctor =(
I'm surprised none of the Eastend characters and the random extras notice any of those aliens looking out the of pub window or wandering around the marketplace!
Wait is this on dvd in the uk
Whats yor gaymme ?
Hey...colin is good, his doctor is the problem.
Hilarious BTW XD
His doctor is not the problem, his doctor is brilliant. The joke went right over your head.
Y'know I can accept a lot of things, but the woman playing the Rani being _an actress?_ Come on, pull the other one.
Rani possible enemy for the 13th😀
EXPOSITION
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
First time I can enjoy this terrible waste of time .thank you
