Great vids. But.. PLEASE will you wear some eye protection when grinding/drilling, etc? ..Both for your own safety and the èxample you give!
My Dad - an engineer by occupation, a driver, and a keen hobbyist - died last month at 80. He had lost his entire left eye at work in 1965 to a fragment flung unexpectedly and forcefully from a machine.
With a slight change in circumstances, this might easily have penetrated further, causing brain damage, even death. Conversely, if he'd been wearing any eye- or face- protection, he might have escaped serious injury; perhaps even been unharmed at all.
As it was, he had to spend the next 55 years with one glass eye and without binocular vision.
He coped phenomenally well in life.. but not everyone may escape narrowly like him, nor be able to adapt so well to a loss.
