Chula Vista: Road Rage Leads to Arrest 06142018

DETAILS:
A female driver of a large white truck became enraged when a male motorcyclist passed her.
The female hit the male from behind and the skid marks show the motorcyclist was pushed from behind for over 50 feet before the female driver slammed on her brakes skidding for over 60 more feet.
The male was thrown from his motorcyclist and was transported to Scripps Chula Vista with a serious leg injury and possible internal injuries.
Witnesses to the incident told the Police, the female got out of her truck and walked over to the injured male and while standing over him started screaming at him “Why would you do that”?
After getting witness statements and speaking with the female driver, the female was arrested at the scene
Her licenses be taken away from her for ever.
And send to prison.
Too many people drive with their emotions, and out of control emotions at that. They need mental evaluation
She acted like it was no big deal to be arrested for running someone down!
She is a psychopath.
Wait till she finds out what she is charged with.
She probably did not want to make a scene in public. She doesn't look like your typical criminal so I have no doubt that internally she is freaking the f*ck out. So glad this video was posted to the internet...she deserves the humiliation.

It makes my stomach turn seeing her smiling while the female officer was questioning her and laughing as well. Showing no signs of concern in any manner... Wake up people, stop with the anger the hate the need for revenge wanting to cause harm or death to another human being.

I used to have a road rage issue until someone asked me to ask myself: will this matter in a mere 10 minutes from now? The answer is always NO, so let it go. A minute of rage is not worth a ruined life.

Why such dark skid marks from Dodge truck? I thought ABS would prevent most of the lock up that would cause the tires to scrub off like that. Her ABS said f*ck it. She's going to be sued.

You’ll still get dark skids with ABS. ABS just prevents the tires from stoping rotating to allow for optimal braking. When you really reef on the brakes in dry conditions with good treads, you’ll get dark skid marks.

Of course the guy is the victim, so my sympathies are with him--but why the hell would someone getting hit from behind by a car with 20x his vehicle's weight SLAM on his brakes? If he realized what was going on and goosed it as soon as bumpers touched, the outcome would be different.

Not for nothing but the only thing you have going for you on a bike is speed and manueverability. I cant tell you how many times people tried to run me over because they were angry in traffic. Best bet is to get out front of the traffic and always be ahead of it. Even when some psycho tries to race you in a car, you just use them as bait and outrun em. The cop will go for the car every time anyway. But never let them catch up to you cause you never know.

I lived in Chula Juana in the eighties. It's a craphole. Half the population is either Mexican or Fillipino. There are a couple of sections that are not that bad. It doesn't matter because these sections are surrounded by the rest......which are nasty. All you have to do is travel a mile or two and your back in hell.

I rode a motorcycle on the street for most of my life. Young female drivers are the worst. I have had many close calls with them. This one needs some jail time. Those skid marks tell a story. I just noticed the date on this LOL. Great Job as usual Doug.
