if thats the case you should replace the smd capacitor. you will noticed that the screen overheating near the screen with the flex. thats a shorted smd capacitor. test the capacitor 1 by 1 and replace the faulty one.
hey so like i got a songlan x12 plus 8gb 5 inch or sum like that and when i opened it and turned it on it was balck screen with white lines and when i tried to restart it it turned to all white, any ideas?

Hi, I have a SUP console same as your yellow, colors washed out when i look it directly but it gets better when I turn it through to left. Do you know a way to fix it?
That is probably problem with polariser inside display, try to disassemble and check are all layers on display in same line. Sorry for late answer, last few months I do not have time for videos :(

So the only solution is to buy a new display or a new console?

Pozz druze imam gameboy sp, slican problem samo sto za razliku od ovog, nekad je beo ekran nekad vertikalne linije, nekad crno belo nekad crn kao da se nazire game boy logo, ekran menha status kad mrdam flat, kad ga zakljucam u konektor stoji stabilno, samo nema slike nego gore navedeno, ocistio sam konektor, flat, sta li moze biti kontam ako je ekran ne bi se menjalo na njemu verikalne i horizontalne linije, a ako je flat zasto onda stoji ekran, linije ili beo nebitno kad je zakljucan u konektoru, tad mogu da mrdam flat nista se ne menja stabilno?
Pozdrav, po mom mišnjenju definitivno je do flet kabla negde, ako si već dobro očistio konektor. Proveri na naku lupicu ili nešto što uveličava kontakte na fletu, nekada se ne vidi okom kada se prespoje dva pina.

Hi, I have the same problem. The screen was working for about 1 day and then suddenly became white. TV output is not working (sends some strange loud noise and no picture)
P.s. fixed by cleaning display' contacts with a paper

Thank you for comment! Currently I do not have a GameBoy for testing, bu t you can open and check is there some corrosion on wires connected to speaker or maybe disconnected from speaker? Also, you can try to clean a wheel for sound adjustment, find some 99% Isopropyl Alcohol, put inside the "wheel" and move us down several times. Did you try to connect headphones in audio jack and see is there any sound?
what is the voltage on the terminals of the LCD ? i guess the lcd is suffering due to over voltage of the battery, as these are 3.3v devices.
there are so many people complaining of display with this console.
I really do not know, I buyed 2 broken few days ago, still not delivered to me, whan thay come I will check the voltages and inform you.

Hi there. I have the same problem of white screen but it appeared after I connected the Sup to the TV. I'm sure the screen is ok and well connected. I think it's a problem of the circuit connected to the tv input jack, because I manipulated the tv cable after the issue started, and for a moment the screen worked again. At this time it's not working, the screen is white again. Do you know how to fix it?

Thanks for asking. Maybe is just loosen screen flat cable, just open and check screen connector. Most probably is that, or otherwise screen is faulty, this are cheap consoles...
hi i tried to connect my sup console to my tv but then it lost the audio and now audio doesnt work any way to fix?
Check the tv out connection, maybe is some contact plate stucked and act like connected to tv...

Thank you for comment. You can check the flat cable, connector and also the cable, is there any damage, if everything is fine probably the screen if faulty :(
When i test it without the shell it works fine, but when i put back in the white screen appears again :(
That is problem with some cold solder joint, I am almost 100% sure, check solder joints on mainboard or flex cable for some damages.

When you turn on the console on battery, is there any sound or just black screen? Is there red light (tiny led) on screen? You can use the console without battery, only connected to charger, so I think maybe your battery is dead or the console dose not charge the battery...
@Mileka Mechatronics hi. Mine work, but the screen is black when i turn it on show purple or blue light, I'm not sure . And when I charge it has the red light , i have Charged it for a full day , nothing happened

You can try to check is there some speaker wire losen, it have only 2 wires. It is easy to disassemble.

Unfortunately, there is no fix by my opinion, that are physical damage or screen fault, it can be repaired but you need to destroy new screen to make this working...

I am really sorry for late answer. I forgot how many pins lad had, but for sure I know that there are at list 2 types of screen, I had 2 screens which looks exactly the same put different No of pins on connector... If I find some lcd i will ansver you.
You can fix the name of the video by: changing the "beli ekran" to "Белый экран"
I will think about it :) "Beli ekran" is on Serbian Latin language :)
