Hello, First of all thank you for this great video. I have the same device as you, a 6000 pro and with your video I did the complete disassembly. But I have a problem reassembling it. The only part you didn't disassemble is the gray plastic part. The one on the left side of the small white wheel that activates the safety. When I disassembled the device this part was out of its housing and I don't know how it was held in place. This part is thinner in its lower part about 3 millimeters while its housing is 4 millimeters. In addition at the bottom of the housing there are 2 lugs which limit the depth. Could you provide me with information on this subject. I have photos of the part if you want to identify it. Bosch asks me to return the device but the latter is more than 10 years old so it would not be profitable. Thank you in advance if you can help me. Kind regards

Hey, my psp seem to have a dead screen, I tried checking it out and the whole psp works just fine but my screen is dark. Sometimes when I look at it under an angle I can see it still shows image but not bright enough do you think its just the screen or is the entire psp in bad shape based off that. Id like to order new screen but dont know if its worth it.

This is some kind of toxic fat that should be avoided, I bought 5 of it, I only managed to empty the first one, but not because of worthwhile work, but just so that it would finally run out. What I can say after one crucible is that it does not help soldering, but due to its viscosity, it holds the part well in place. I usually use it to push a little under the IC and do the actual soldering with a normal flux. Unfortunately, due to its toxic ingredients, it must be handled with great care. I hope the Mechanik I just ordered will be much better. But if not by much, it will still get better.

Bought 2 of these in the checkout lane at Walmart, they do not work (screen just shows static/snow), they are going back. I bought one from Five Below (local discount store) a few years ago, looks the same but different branding on the back, and it works great. So, clearly, something's up with these units from Walmart.

Hello Mileka, thanks a lot for the video - my D5000 had the same "burning" problem. Now it's clean and working proper. AND the clips are very good. After assembling it is again very stable!

I did disconnect the cable that is connected to the screen instead of disconnect the cable that is connected to the mainboard, it does not display vaio logo in external monitor when turn on untill the computer sucessfully boot into the login screen

if thats the case you should replace the smd capacitor. you will noticed that the screen overheating near the screen with the flex. thats a shorted smd capacitor. test the capacitor 1 by 1 and replace the faulty one.
