Wow I actually had no idea you'd retired from UA-cam, Im still pretty new. But ive been watching a lot of your videos. And having dabbled in videography myself for a few months I can really appreciate your editing skills. I love your videos man! I hope to see more of you, plus you vaguely remind me of one of my best friends I haven't seen in years.
I didn’t technically retire, but I wasn’t sure if I was going to make more videos. I realized that I put too much pressure on myself and set really high expectations which wasn’t realistic. In the end, I really do enjoy UA-cam and I’m just here to have fun!
What a coincidence, I stopped making videos for the same reason. I haven't made a video in a couple months myself now (I was making beyblade videos) I had a lot of fun doing it but I expected too much from myself at the time and it just stopped being fun. But I actually thought about combining beyblade and cubing in some way and maybe coming back to UA-cam. At least once ive learned the rest of full CFOP lol. But in still not sure about it. Maybe down the road. Glad to see you back tho!
@@tjzero0008 having dealt with similar feelings, my best advice is that if you are going to upload again, try to to include longer breaks in between videos so you don’t tire yourself out too quickly. I have been uploading much more often this summer after getting out of school, and not until about a week ago, when I had worked on videos for around 3 days in a row, did I start to feel a little tired of UA-cam. After those 3 days, I had a nice 3 day break, and now I feel much better about uploading. I would also suggest taking your time with uploads too 👍
@@TDRPCubing thank you for suggestion, that's a good idea. I just didn't have the time for a while without causing burnout. Which is why I have been so apprehensive about returning. But once I feel comfortable and things in my life are going a little more smoothly maybe I'll come back better than ever!

You got to stop pulling at my heart strings, you know I love the videos lol in all seriousness I'm really glad you came out of retirement, but stop disappearing on us. Thanks to Dian for bringing you out of retirement, I also love Dian cubes and I do love my 4x4s I used to solve them nearly every day when I was in college. I would bring my 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6 and my 7x7 around because people would love to see them and scramble them and watch them get solved so I had a backpack full of rubiks cubes I even did my speech class presentations on Rubik cubes it was a lot of fun. My niece recently associates me with them so she will bring my giant 3x3 ornament light one to me, I need to replace the battery though but she lights to rotate them around.
I hope your back out of retirement now that it’s 4 months later. Yes I made it to the end and I have this cube and like it.

My average is a bit down. Probably around 20 seconds. My main for now is still my old Cosmic GTS3M
One never stops cubing. We just don’t do it regularly. I don’t cube as much as I used to, but I never forget how to solve it.
