Sometimes it's easy to fall into the trap of considering a bike "done" as soon as you finish the restoration, but the break-in period, all the adjustments, fluid changes and inevitable little fixes here and there are what makes the real difference. Dear Sir, firstly note that I live in Australia and in 1980 I bought a brand new BMW R80/7 , not too much difference ( except maybe the exhaust pipe ) from your BMW R80ST, great job by the way
