    I put castor oil in my belly button one night. The next day I felt kinda sick but the following day I had the biggest poop of my life. Couldn't believe all that was stuck inside me. Feeling much better...more energy and no more pain in my gut.

    Apple cider vinegar and water drank with a meal helps with digestion. I am swearing by it now after suffering so long. It works better than digestive enzymes and HCL. I stopped drinking the vinegar water after I bought digestive enzymes and here we go again. I learned a good lesson.

    When I'm constipated, I rely on PRUNES, stewed with a bit of sugar. 10 prunes work very well.

      That’s a huge amount of sugar. You would never eat 10 fresh plums in one go but once they are dried, it’s all too easy to eat lots of them, overloading your body with sugar. To add sugar to that is completely unnecessary and makes the problem of sugar overload even worse!

    My go to foods/drinks for colon health are broccoli, prunes, & lemon water. In particular the combination of consuming lemon water & prunes in the morning is a great way to start your day. And both do wonders for your mental health if consumed on a daily basis.

      @@phyllismorris94 basically no, that's bcuz lemonade has lots of sugar to counteract the sourness of the lemon. While lemon water has 0 sugar which makes it more nutritious than lemonade.

    You can boil a handful of rose petals in 1 cup of water and stain. When it's lukewarm have the stained water with 1tsp of honey. In a matter of 2 hours it will work on you. Take care that you are at home for 1/2 day to clear the process.

    I didn't know chia seeds, thanks for sharing ! I have used psyllium 40 years ago, my metabolism got used to it quickly and had no more effects....

    Every vegan or vegetarian should take at least every second day early in the morning on an empty stomach 1 tablespoon (15 ml) castor oil in order to prevent an intestinal blockage, for in the case that you will eat a lot of fruits or vegetables your large intestine will be really filled and you will remark this one occasionally unpleasant, this especially during the night. In this case it will be very helpfull to take your dosage castor oil in good time

    Every time I looked up on a psyllium husk label it always had a cancer warning on it. That scared me enough to stay away from it.

      Because they tend to be bitter. I love them and I don't even need to put anything on them. I can eat them plain. Although I like them better with butter and salt on them

    Why am I watching this? I have tried everything. Heathly foods,pills, things my doctor gave to me, more pills and other stuff to help me poop more. Nothing ever works! Even my laxatives don't work anymore. I can't eat a lot of the healthy stuff anyway because I allways feel full. I guess it's all down to stress. But what can I do about that? Ore there is something very wrong in my belly. I've spoken to a lot of doctors about my problem(it makes my life hard to the point where I want just to stay at home and having a hard time even walking my dog) but none of these doctors ever saw a problem. They keep saying it all looks and sounds right and yes "they can feel poop. "Yes,I can believe that! I,m rather skinny ,haven't got a swolen belly(allthough it feels like that to me). And yes,they hear movements in my guts. This is of no use to me. I have lived with this problem for years and years. Nothing works and nobody helps me. There are things I can;t do because I allways feel sick to my stomach. I try to eat foods that are good for me(by the way I,m a vegetarian). But,like I said,I can't and don't eat very much at all. Then why do I allways feel full? I know there are people who don't get enough to eat. I feel sorry for them. But I would like to feel hungry,as strange as this may sound. Guess what, all of my dogs(formally bigger onhhaes,but at the moment a Whippet-sized one) poops a whole lot more than me. Like I said,he's Whippet_sized.He poops about four or fife times a day( a whole a lot more than I can produce. ) Maybe I should eat his dog-food.......Don't know what to do.Like I said:it may be all because 0f stress. And I have a lot of that. Mainly because of said dog.

      Try drinking more water, at least 10 glasses a day including coffee and tea. Check your meds to see which ones cause constipation and stop taking them if possible, warm lemon water in am. Stop eating processed foods as there is no residue for you to poop. Massage your belly in the direction of the colon. These are working for me. Also 2 to 3 servings of fruit every day.

      Please watch all videos by Dr Bulsiewiecz(gastroenterologist) on gut health. You're backed up, that's why you feel full all the time. Als, you might suffer from SIBO (small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth). But I knów far too little. Better to let the expert tell you.

    From my experience it doesn't exist food which can unlock the colon. Fiber story is a big lie. In my case fibers made me a lot of problems because fibers left colons without water making situation worst.
