Oooh I'm glad you tailored the challenge! I think challenges are a fun way to push yourself or reset your frame of mind about certain topics. I made up my own challenge last October called Restober, which was focused prioritizing sleep and rest by turning off screens and being physically in my bed by 11. It was nice to see that even when I put rest first, I was able to still accomplish everything that needed to happen that day.
thanks for watchinggg!! yay for lowering the bar and building habits in a way that works :) would love to hear if you've got any challenges or new habits you've been doing! Hope ur day is going well ❤
Yes finding creativity is hard sometimes especially when I don't feel inspired. I keep telling myself to write but don't have motivation or I get too busy.
Congrats on your skillshare partnership! That is so elite and well deserved. I hope we get to hear about your experience with it in future podcasts or a video or such.
Cheers to building healthy and sustainable habits!! 🥳🧡 Especially when it comes to our art practice, I guess we shouldn’t pressure ourselves too much. I know, when it’s your job sometimes you just HAVE to do art - so it can add up quickly 🙈
I’ve always had a hard time taking care and prioritizing myself and my goals but you inspire me so much! I can tell you’re a hard worker don’t beat yourself up. You’re doing great! 💕
I have been following you since pretty much the beginning, and I am so impressed with what you have achieved with your small business while still staying sane! I like your version of the challenge too! its way to easy to burn out these days. So take good care and I'm so happy to hear Mr. bumblebee made it ok
i love how you adapted the challenge! i've always been put off by the original version, but yours is inspiring me to try something similar, especially with zinetober around the corner :) i'm also about to move into a new place & i can't wait to order some of your prints to decorate my room/office! xx
I love your videos so much, it is inspiring for me as an artist 🩵 Please make a video about Procreate tutorials, which tools and brushes you use, how you prepare illustrations for printing and etc. It would be so helpful for beginners, including me
I've been trying to draw for at least one hour every day for my comic. Hasn't been a daily thing yet, unfortunately, but it's making me think about creating more often outside of my comic so I suppose it's working in a way. PS. For you or anyone else looking to make a habit of exercising every day, I highly recommend taking a Jiu-Jitsu class. My classes are for one hour every day besides the weekend. Very helpful for staying fit, very fun and has a bonus of teaching you how to defend yourself! And if you're lucky, you'll find friends there :)
Especially WFH it's been hard to transition from productive mindset to relaxing so I started taking a quick walk around the block once my partner comes home from work and that has helped me so much! Also are we so excited for new Zelda game or what!??
I love that illustration with the hand! For illustrations you don’t make a product out of and list on your website, do you have them available for purchase to download?
Off topic but as a beginning content creator I was curious what you use for your prints or rather how you get your illustration/art pieces printed... Because I've got a number of art pieces I would love to have printed professionally but I don't know where to begin
I want your "it's a gift to exist" illustration as a sticker in the shape of the arch (with the words inside). Love the concept and colors!

Aw I am so glad!! I do the same thing when I am drawing so happy to pay it forward :)

Yaay thanks anouschka!! Yessss I totally agree that we should try to put less pressure on ourselves - easier said than done though!
I have a tip - dont illustrate what’s being written on each page, show what happens in between - it gives great depth to the book.

I love your t-shirt! Soo so cute!
I’ve been thinking about doing some version of this challenge myself, now I feel that the time is finally coming because of you haha
I looked up 75 hard challenge, and landed on the snowflake channel. I doubt any content here will help me face the reality of the world. good luck!

New subscriber here. Great vlogs. I appreciate your art. Peace 🕊️
I am not a fan of any challenge that is a quick fix rather than a long term solution.
