congrats on starting your small business! I totally hear you on marketing being the hardest part you have to drag yourself through but I wish you all the best! Like you said, even starting a youtube channel is a huge step (and achievement)! You were great at speaking and explaining so hope you gained confidence :)
Congrats! I literally just made a video about how you don't need a huge audience to grow your business and get sales! Your community will find you, post and they will come 💕
I just opened my Shopify store last week and I feel sooo lost but I love the community of learning an just hearing what others are doing, an how there doin it ❤
I've been thinking of starting my own art youtube channel for the past 6 months too but I never got around to it. Seeing a new channel like yours pop up on my timeline reminded me that I should go ahead and start. Good luck with your art business!
I am glad to find your channel now, as you are just starting! Can't wait to see the growth! I have worked on my mini business on and off for a while now, but can't say I am consistent 😅
I think selling fanart is a great idea. I love seeing artists, who I already enjoy their style, make fanart. I also just recently decided to open an art small business. Good luck!
I don't recommend selling fan art because the copyright (you can be sued). If you want to do that check first with the company if they allow with a license to do that. If you try to open a shop on Etsy selling these type of products they will close your shop and block you to open any other shop to sell anything else.
@@NuriaSaladrigasLarroy That’s exactly right! which is why I’d like to lean towards selling my original stuff. I’m only interested in making fanart for media where the creators have explicitly said they don’t mind fanart being sold. I’m staying far away from people like Disney haha
This is so exciting and inspiring to see as an artist :)) I’m so happy you took the leap and started your UA-cam channel. Super excited to see future videos, subscribed ☺️
So exciting ❤ well done for taking the first step I know it’s scary, such great editing as well! If you don’t mind me asking what software you used to edit it? I am thinking of starting a UA-cam channel as well and I’m in the research stage myself!
@@LittleOakPrints I used imovie to cut my clips together, and then used premier pro to colour grade and add a couple touches. Hey girl! Love this! I am also in the same boat as you, trying to start youtube (just doing shorts right now) and building a name for myself and my art. Can we be friends? Haha 😂 I’d love to bounce ideas off someone else and get good tips.
