Love my QST. The volume level is a game changer for an attached garage… never bothered my family or neighbors. I haven’t really had many moisture issues but I don’t use it super heavy. Regardless, I’m ordering the kit. Thanks for making the upgrade backwards compatible! Not many companies would care about prior customers like that. Kudos to Eastwood.
Thanks for the positive feedback, we're glad you're happy with the unit! If you haven't already can you copy and paste this feedback and leave a review on the product page? www.eastwood.com/eastwood-elite-qst-30-60-scroll-air-compressor-with-quiet-technology.html
I have owned mine for just under a year now. Not a heavy user. I love it! If I had to by another compressor, I would by same thing again. No issues with it.
Wish mine were that quiet. It's uncomfortably loud right next to it - and I believe it was due to the water contamination in the oil (it and the filters have been changed many many times because of that). I have one of the very first shipped in 2018 - ordered during the introduction back in late 2017. Will definitely want to get that auto-drain kit.
I love my QST 30/60 for the low decibels which powers my entire garage and workshop. This will be a great improvement to keep moisture especially when doing paint projects. Will the new adapter riser fit under the hood as it now looks elevated? I couldn't find dimensions specs?
I probably would have bought this if the cfm would have been more. It needs to be min 15cfm to 20cfm. 20 cfm would be great but 15 should be the min. Oh and the cover needs to be added back. That cover being eliminated because of shipping damage should not be a factor. It should have been shipped separately and packaged more appropriately so it wouldnt be damaged or the shipping carriers need to be charged for the damages. I feel damage to products could be mostly eliminated if items were packaged sufficently. Yeah it might cost more in the short term but its going to eliminate return fees. If businesses would just look at this and think about the big picture it would save a lot of angry frustrtated customers and return shipping fees. I see this way to much now.
Sounds like you need to move up to the QST 80/120 which operates at 31.8 CFM www.eastwood.com/eastwood-elite-qstr-80-120-scroll-air-compressor-with-80-gallon-air-tank.html
Kit just arrived. Item# on box 721025 QST 30/60 Automatic Moisture Drain Kit. I tried search on Eastwood but the Item didn't on site show so you will still have to call to order :)
@@tomv8346 I have one of the original units and it’s been great. Definitely will pick up this upgrade. Super appreciate you posting the part number. What did it cost?

The hood will need to be left off once adding the auto drain.
Nice! Will be ordering as soon as it becomes available! (probably Monday huh?)
