Davinci's 2383 at 5:41mins in had no chromatic aberration. Your FilmForever at 6:05 looks bad. Check the chromatic aberration (reds) on the trees and pole top. I've made a DWG version of 2383 and no problems like that.
How did you set up the color management in Davinci? Thank you!
Hey why do you set the cst to davinci wide gamut and davinci intermediate? The right input is film gen 5
Thank you very much, very big help
Thx ya for this 🙏🏾
I’m curious how you would set this up for Aces color management
great tips!
gate weaver is in analog damage , the name is shutter weave
Please, make a color grading tutorial with John Wick's look.
hello you have gate weaver in the Davinci you don't need to use camera shake
Thank you for making this great content 💪👍
I’d like to see how this works with iPhone footage. Although, not sure how that would work because there’s no profile for iPhone in Resolve CST. Great stuff, by the way.
The iPhone records in rec.709 so you can just set the input to rec.709 and gamma 2.4
If you have an IPhone 12 or 13, you could try Filmic Pro Log, it's 10bit.
Yea. I use Filmic in Log format, but there is no transform in CST for it for Resolve. Thanks for the reply, Matheus.
Same issue. Is there a standard way to convert faked log footage from iphone into standard rec709?
Cinematch does the job pretty well, you can convert Filmic Log to Arri Log, then use color space transform for correction.
Whenever I use the emulation, there's a watermark that says davinci resolve studio. How can I get rid of it?
Nice
Why do you use DaVinci Wide Gamut as input color space as opposed to the log profile used in camera such as BM Design Film?
lol, people do it in different ways so its soo confusing for us
can't use it on premier pro 😐
So painful
is this the Vol.2 or Vol.3 powergrade? because mine is different that there is no Kodat 2383 node in my powergrade
powergrade not work
how to use that workflow in a color managed workfolw?
can it be use in premiere
I tried this with some arri footage and it made it look worse. Was arri prores 2k.
How did you set up the color management in Davinci it never turns out the way you guys show it in my Project
What’s the Color profile of your footage? Also, are you using Filmforever 1 or 2?
@@ColoristFoundry any ideas what color profile should i put if im using a6000? and i shot it in neutral. thanks!
Tene que hacer tuturiales con adobe premier tambien
Not good enough for color grading. You should try Davinci since it's free.
o puedes usar Resolve
is bmpcc 4k worth buying in 2022 ?
yeah
The free power grade you provided doesn't work on davinci resolve...
We’ve already released a creative and technical 2383 LUT for premiere. Check out coloristfactory.com/2021/02/15/kodak-2383-print-film-emulation-lut-premiere-pro/
I use Davinci Resolve...
@@dezmilcoisas Extremely sorry, thought I was replying to the premiere pro comments here. Are you using the free version or studio(paid) version of resolve?
@@ColoristFoundry no problem. I'm using the Studio version. When I apply the grade to my footage nothing happens...
@@dezmilcoisas true. Nothing shows up and I also use the paid version
Can I use this one to premiere pro
