Sorry to hear about Joe's job. I was really exited to see the India series. This pandemic has effected so many people in so many ways. I was supposed to get married in March but was delayed due to the current situation. All the best to both of you. Much Love from India.
Please more wedding content ! I would love to know what and how you’re doing everything ! Would be inspiring for our own wedding one day 🎉 wish you all the best
Niomi your attitude is incredible! 💜 you’ve clearly had a turbulent year but you seem to he handling it all in stride. I truly hope that’s the case 💜 sending love
I can only imagine how hard the reality of not going back to India is! Hopefully, one day another opportunity would come up! Also, do you or anyone by any chance remember where the spice rack is from? x
The relationship you have with Joe is the sweetest thing, and it really inspires me to find someone that treats me right and loves me unconditionally. Seeing your relationship blossom, making wedding plans and being happy together makes me so happy too. I guess it gives me a sense of hope. Also the part with your best friend was such a precious moment too. Anyhow just wanted to send so much love & positive energy to Joe & you. Life is full of ups and downs but it's how we react to them that matters. Have a great week!! Love you guys!!
I swear, as a frenchie follower who adores listening to your beautiful British accent, Charlotte and you laughing in Kensington gardens was the most British thing I ever listened to !!! XD I mean ladies... Your laughters are as British as the Thames ! 😅
Covid has thrown almost every family through a loop with changes of plans, moves, job situations, losses of loved ones, etc. You aren't alone! I'm sorry that it didn't work out the way you had planned. May there be something ifferent and wonderful waiting for you in your next chapter.
I can only imagine how tough it must have been on you to see so many plans truncated by this unforseeable situation. I hope you and Joe are taking care of your mental health and soon enough feel at home again :) And by the way, what is going to happen to both you and Joe's belongings in India + the new home? Is it all getting sold?
What a nice vlog! I love the shelves with spices. Kensington gardens are so nice! I used to go there very often when I was an au pair more than 20 years ago and I still consider London as the most amazing city in the world! 🥰 You and Charlotte have a lovely friendship. I wish you a fantastic summer with all the people you love 😘 I'm French and I love the way you say " Brigitte Bardot" , so cute! 😊
@@GreySalt it was Joe's flat and Freddie was his roomate. Niomi and Freddie were good friends and pretty much family. You have no idea if Freddie was upset about the living arrangement and to suggest that is silly. No one ends an engagement because of a small thing like that. It seeks like you are oblivious.
I was so excited to see your India journey with Joe too! But I’m sure you will make moving back a good time too, excited to see the wedding now! Also Niomi, be careful when you film the views outside the window! It is very easy to find the location of the apartment based on that so be safe!!
Sooo relate to what you were saying about the plan change being hard psychologically! I had been saving for years to go travelling and with my partner and do my yoga teacher training in Bali. We got to NZ and had to go into lockdown after 2 weeks and then had to make the difficult decision to fly home to the UK. Was so gutting because it had quit our jobs and had been planning for SO long! And spent so much of our savings on our flight back to the UK. But no one could have predicted this! And so so lucky that we and our families are healthy. But it’s still ok to feel the disappointment and frustration of huge plans being cancelled/changed. Hope you’re ok and being kind to yourself ❤️💕
You have been an inspiration to me during lockdown, I haven’t eaten meat since Easter and slowly starting my life as a vegan, my first visit to a vegan shop today, where they were super helpful, I have purchased your book, of course, which has become my bible! I have so far molasses, nutritional yeast flakes, yeast extract, cacao powder, I am coeliac, so naturally have gluten free oats etc, I don’t eat bread and have cooked with gluten free flour for years, looking for more natural vegan gluten free flour now, some introductions to becoming vegan would be perfect at this time. Welcome back to London and late congratulations on your engagement..take care...louise xx
I love these chilled vlog style videos. Also more recipes as they’ve always been my favourite, and some Joe and Fred content maybe? Whatever you’re comfortable with sharing of course 💕
I’m so disappointed for you both, especially Joe because of the job xx I know whatever lies ahead, for you both, it will be another exciting adventure I’m sure 😘
Loved this video!! It's so nice to see you and Joe pushing through these confusing times together x super sweet and encouraging. Really hoping you guys get to have a sense of stability soon. Also YES recipe videos would be so nice! I've really been loving your cookbook and have made your banana bread recently and loved it!
the universe has a plan, everything happens for a reason. The place you are in right now is exactly where you are supposed to be. Even the whole craziness which is going on has a purpose, people just need to start seeing it.
I'm sorry but I find this so offensive, especially considering that I know so many people who lost their parents or husbands to COVID. I personally am fine with others having a religion/belief but also saying that to others who've lost their job/livelihood/loved ones is just mean. Things happen in a certain way because we have a society that is constructed on specific terms. It's not the universe who determines high BAME mortality because of COVID, it's structural issues.
Nice to see you again, I was surprised to see you without a mask on when you were out.........maybe you are ahead of us here in Toronto....we can’t get into anything without a mask on..........good to see you home and starting to get settled,I’m sorry to hear about Joe’s job, but at least you are all safe and healthy.........the world as we know it will never be the same and I think it’s fair to say we are all nervous about the new normal looks like........a day at a time Niomi , is probably the best way to handle it all.............glad you are home.....have a great week ........Donna in Toronto .
I think they are required to wear masks indoors (stores, other services), on public transport and such, but not outside, if you keep distance. At least that's how it is in most European countries at the moment, as far as I'm aware :)
I said exactly the same things as you when we moved to India for 3 years. We loved it and we loved the Indians so much. Maybe you will return in the future. X.
I started following you when you announced you were moving to Mumbai and loved the Mumbai content as I'm from here! Gonna miss seeing your Mumbai vlogs
I am so sorry to hear that Joe’s job isn’t happening. But things happen and things change. It’s much better for you better in the UK. Something new and exciting will happen for you both. India is going through some challenging things right now due to the Pandemic. Every country is handling things differently. Family and your healths physical and mental are the most important! But you are LIVING through it all! We all live through these scary times. Resiliency!
I am gutted for you both not returning to India. I was so looking forward to the decorating of the apartment that you have found already. Oh dear... look at me who's nobody here yet I feel empty suddenly for knowing you're not returning to India. I would have loved to follow it so keenly because I made a wrong decision of not joining my Italian husband who was assigned there in Bangalore for a year 10 years ago and I kept refusing to go. Sadly, I lost him now 6 years but that goes to show you that one should never take anything for granted. I was going to live India through you tbh. Weird as it may sound. Sorry to hear this news.
Her line about not planning your life too much in advance because it may not work out how you think it will is so poignant now that they’ve split. So sad. A new life in India and a future with Joe...all her plans ruined 😕
This video was so sweet. It made me excited to see my girlfriends again. My country (the U.S.) isn't handling the COVID situation very well, but I'm hoping to see one of my best friends next weekend. It'll be the first time since New Year's Eve!
I liked this video very much, hearing your updates and your honest feelings about everything. So happy to see a new video. You've had a lot to deal with, so understandably so. Loved the picnic with your chief brides maid. Apartment looks so cozy. Best to you both through these crazy times...Connie:-)
Completely completely understand your disappointment with having to cancel your move! Me and my partner were meant to move abroad because I got a new job - but we ended up coming home after being their for the shortest amount of time. Left all our stuff in the other flat and borders were closed. Now we are unemployed and looking to start life again in London. It’s a weird time knowing it’s the right decision but that the plan didn’t work out and the adventure didn’t work out. However, onwards and upwards! Xx
So sorry to hear about India, I could see how excited you and Joe were for that next chapter, hopefully once life goes back to normal you will be able to get back out there❤️It must be strange to have been in that mentality of settling in out there to suddenly having to change mindsets to being back home. Hope you are both adjusting ok❤️On the upside, what a lovely moment between you and Charlotte and you both look gorgeous❤️

Niomi, your content has been amazing during the whole lockdown. It is very sad indeed how this pandemic has impacted the world! I’m sure whatever life has planned, it is amazing !
My husband is currently in the USAF and we were due to move to Japan. Literally the week after we got our plane tickets, booked our movers, took our cars back home (thank God we didn’t sell them), spent our whole savings to visit family for the last (or what we thought) two months with our families before we moved for three years overseas they cancelled it. Lol so I get it girl! ❤️ There’s a reason for everything whether we know why or not!
Will you be house hunting or looking for a new flat? I can’t imagine that living with your brother in law would be ideal. You all need privacy and want your own decor.
Would love a video about body consciousness. What do you do to feel good in your body? What do you think about the image that Social Media platforms create about female bodies? Would love to hear your thoughts on that. You always seem so confident and happy with your body. Lots of love from Germany :)
Such a cute vlog! Can’t wait to see the planning of the wedding! Niomi, could you make a video with some tips on transitioning to a plant based diet in a non-vegetarian household? Would love to hear your thoughts 💭 Lots of love from Bulgaria 🇧🇬❤️
