- Learn how to paint the White Stormtrooper armour as well as weathering it, ready for your games of Star Wars Legion.
There will be easy to follow visual steps as well as commentary as we paint the miniature.
I hope that you will find this video useful!
*PLEASE NOTE
Although I do use Army painter paints I have tried to match the Citadel equivalent in the videos - although they are not 100% match, it should be close enough to the final outcome :):)
Enjoy!

Hi all!
This is a BRAND NEW channel to go alongside my main Swords and Brushes channel.
I will cover sci-fi miniature games on this one - such as 40K, Star Wars Legion, Necromunda and so forth :)
The main video for this short will be up on the channel in a few days time, so hopefully this will be a nice little taster for you :):)
I am totally new to the miniature world, got aresin printer a few days ago and now I print all of my Star Wars SciFi heroes. Never painted things like that before and collecting all kinds of input for this. Would like to see more SciFi shit.😊
Awesome! How are you finding using the printer?
Well i hope that the channel will be a good resource for you and hope you pick up some ideas/colour schemes for your minis! :)
Hello i love this stormtrooper
Ah thank you very much! I am working on the longer form video with a slightly different method of achieving the armour colour, just for a bit of variety :)
Nice, but for my money I’d try to make the whites a shade or two lighter. Don’t get me wrong this is well done, mt personal preference would be to go lighter.
na thats cool! It's nice to have a variety of preferences :) For me i tend to get with an off white light grey so i can highlight with white. For these chaps i want them a bit mucky as well for Endor :)
Mmmh. You should use the Speedpaint more sparingly. This trooper is more grey than white. If you spare the white above, the grey would look more like shadow instead of being the primary colour.
I tend to paint an off white light grey colour for whites, that way i can highlight white :) Maybe for something like Tau i maybe would go lighter :)
@@SwordsandBrushesSci-Fi Yup. I don't d that too. The problem then is, that the white wont cover the grey as much and it looks like grey.
Storm troopers are not just white, but shiny white.
I switched to painting darks instead of highlighting white for whites.
White doesnt have highlights, but some shadows. looking at cars works for that.
@@hallarious506 I did the snow troopers GW white primer (it's dusty AF) and then white contrast and then highlight the white things white layer and finally polish undercoat for the shinny. They actually look pretty sweet but might think of a cleaner approach for normal Storm Troopers
Those are awesome tufts! May I ask where you got them? :)
I use a mix of natural moss and other products for forest basing - i did a video on my other channel that covers it a it more in depth - hopefully that may help a bit more! :)

Uh did I just stumble onto a certain Vampires old channel?
Please make some 40k
Definitely going to be doing that! :) Im going to get Leviathan when that comes out, so i will have some Tyranid and Marine content on the horizon :)
@@SwordsandBrushesSci-Fi please make a tutorial on a red brown new tyranid scheme
@@user-vz6py7zj1d Consider that added to me list!
Ive recently purchased some Tyranids - and they are screaming out for some videos to be made! :)
