New CFMOTO 675cc engine: the lightest three-cylinder engine in the class

- All-new 675 engine: 0-100 km/h acceleration in just in 3 seconds.
The 675cc three-cylinder powerplant is a completely new in-house project by CFMOTO displayed for the first time in EICMA 2023. With low weight, high durability, rapid acceleration (due to a low inertia crank) and smooth delivery (due to the FCC slipper clutch), it will equip new exciting models coming out in 2024.
The engine will deliver a maximum torque of 68 Nm at 8250 rpm, a maximum power of over 100 HP and, furthermore, will reach a peak of 12300 rpm. Those impressive numbers will lead our new vehicles to an impressive to 0-100 km/h acceleration in just in 3 seconds.
The unit is forged from aluminum to reach a 10% weight reduction compared to similar motors. For our first ever three-cylinder engine, the weight is limited to 55kg. Forged aluminum pistons contribute to an 8% more strength compared to non-forged ones.

I did a little math and if 68nm is at 8250rpm, just as 75nm is at 11900rpm, and we take into account that the torque is proportional to the mass of the piston and the power is proportional to its revolutions, then it gives us 128hp is at 12500rpm as 88hp is at 8665rpm, if we provide it at the maximum rpm given by cfmoto, it gives us that the bike should be delivering about 124.91633hp at 12300 rpm. Nice CFMoto :)
Time to purchase a second CFMOTO 😊
😭
agusta get 138hp from an 800ccm f3, their F3 675 put out 128hp 14,000rpm.
I don't know how your math works, but torque is not proportional to the weight of the piston
@@ddd.777-I know....its the weight of the driveshaft, the weight of a motorcycle piston is minimal=irrelevant to torque
this is my next bike upgrade from my 450SR cant wait!!
No wonder CFmoto's been hanging around the Moto2 paddock🧐
All aluminum block and pistons, Cobalt valves, 12300 rev limit... That's impressive
our definition of "soon" seem to be different. It's been 6 months!
¡¡YA SÁCALAA!!😍CFMOTO!!!!!!🔥
I am really excited for this engine and the bike that will have it.
Espero salga este año bro
Triumph's Daytona 675 made 75 Nm of torque at 11,900 RPM, and 128 BHP at 12,500 rpm. So just looking at the numbers provided here, this engine is down on peak torque and revs, which means the claimed "over 100 horsepower" is probably closer to 100 than 128. The massive disparity in the RPMs at which max torque is reached indicates that this is cammed much further down than the Triumph.
That means its probably closer to Honda's CBR650R in terms of performance, which uses a stroked out version of their inline 4 CBR600RR engine. The CBR650RR makes 64 Nm of torque at 8,500RPM and 94 horsepower at 12000 RPM. Their extra displacement and lower camming gives them better midrange power compared to a traditional 600.
It’s an KTM engine…
They make engine for KTM and YAMAHA but this is an original CF MOTO engine
@@pierreparaveman3665 With the copy of the technic from KTM, yes.

@@amph3 lol KTM doesn't make 3 cylinder engines. This engine is based on CFMOTO's 450 engine, with an extra cylinder. We know this because of CFMOTOs patents they filed under their own name a year back.
I wish CF Moto would put some more info out on that bike I’m hoping to upgrade from the 450 sr so some info on that bike would be great
I'm interested, just waiting for some bigger engines.
I am waiting for the 675SR. Make it light, well balanced and it will be mine.
this is how you do a motorcycle ad, well done cf moto
From USA next bike is the 675 from the 450ss!
Im really wanting the 675
No venderán ese motor por separado? Quiero ponérselo a mi italika 125
Es broma verdad?
Will this be in Eicma?
JUST engine in EICMA
@@drowswolley4661built in an KTM? 😂
Update - Not in Eicma this year. 👍
@@BananaMobileGaming Any updates? how about this year?
Please come to Thailand i will buy it.

"over 200 hours of continuous testing"
I hope that's a typo, because that isn't very much testing at all. That's barely 10,000 miles.
I’m assuming “continuous” means non stop testing. Not today it’s tested for 5 hours and tmrw another 5, adding up to 200, but 200 hours of non stop, engine not turning off testing
@@josephwu3136 that only makes it worse. Heat cycles are what stresses components, not continuous use. A single 200h heat cycle is far less stressful on an engine than 200 cold starts. It might be impressive if they'd run the engine at maximum load and maximum rpm for 200h, but I figure they would have said so if they did.
wonder which way the crank sits, have they copied or bought the license to build the agusta 675 triple?
Can you make 250cc 4 cilynder bike with cheaper price than ninja zx25r ?
Cuando sale a producción? No puedo esperar más ya quiero verla en persona 🔥
你海外平台倒是速度,国内平台还没更新呢
when will this releasse? need a new bike for summer
Sounds MEAN! 😈
What about the 500SR?
No news?
That blue one, still doing factory testing by CFMOTO in China now. ua-cam.com/video/aho-e8a0kDM/v-deo.html
Next engine for moto gp 2
so any news about cfmoto inline 4

SHUTUP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!
Just for context In general, manufacturing workers in China earn an average salary of around CNY 184,751 (approximately USD 26,000) per year (AverageSalarySurvey). Not arguing one way or another just providing facts.
looks like Triumph hasn't secured well their blueprints and their cyberspace huh😂
Mv agusta 675 engine???
This engine is based on CFMOTO's 450 engine, with an extra cylinder...Not triumph...Although they have the same displacement...
Cuando saleeeee?
El otro año talvez bro
Ese Motor va rugir delicioso 🔥

🤩 türkiyede servis parça sorunu yaşıyoruz lütfen bunları düzeltin motor alacaklar almıyor sırf bu yüzden Yamahanın servisi gibi olsun lütfen
Now it comes with more reason it will broke.
What?
200 hours of testing ? That's ... Nothing. 😮
Continuous testing* Not stoping the engine for 200 hours dude....
Sure it is!
The engine is developed by KTM Austria.
CFMoto is allowed to use it cause they produce the engine for KTM in China.
The rest of the bike is….not that good.
…cause China …
Sorry but what KTM has a 3 cylinder engine? Oh... i see :)
These bikes from CFMOTO are amazing. I bought CLX SPORT 700 two years ago. The fit, feel and finish are top notch. I've beaten on that motor, and it is amazing. China is out to prove something and I'm convinced. I will soon have two CFMOTOs in my stable.
Just because it came from China doesn't mean it's automatically bad. The simplest logic is you get what you paid for when buying stuff from China. If you give them low cost, you'll get low cost. If you give them enough they'll make you more than enough.
It’s an copy of an old Benelli engine from the 2000.
@@amph3 whos your source? Yourself? 🤪
will it be able to A2licence?
With its power to weight ratio probably not
