Natural Rubies are a rare gemstone, a lot of rubies available at stores are either synthetic or lead glass filled . So buyers, beware!
Rubies that are heat treated are more easily available and are stunning! However less that 1% of all natural rubies that are mined and are of gem quality are of no heat/ no treatment, so they are extremely rare!
