The guy behind the counter was happily showing the food to the camera and helping you with your video. Whoever kicked you out is not really a good representation on the company itself. I dout he is actaully the boss man of this chain

I don't care how nice the food is. After spending your money and even paying more for a pathetic amount of extra food and then asking you to leave would make me never want to go back ever again.

You are allowed to film in public places, unfortunately if they want to kick you out for filming then they can cause it's a private place.
I think they made a mistake in asking you to leave. I used to work in retail and 99% of people don't get the business reserves the right to kick you out or stop you from filming as it's private property. Every time you enter a business premises you agree to T&C.
Fair enough! I was surprised as they said it was okay and is in line with Fireaway policy, I didn’t expect myguy to leave the store and get the manager from next door half an hour into my review. I’d have rather just done the review in the car instead of them okaying me to go get my gear
It's open to the public, but isn't a public place it's a private business.

The fact is you paid good money for the food, yet the key takeaway from this review is the impact good customer service and respect can have that can make or break a business, and I truly hope this business does break because of their awful and despicable way of treating customers. I personally would have thrown the food in their faces for that, but your a true professional mashAllah, and your awesome work provides us with the knowledge and expertise to help us appraise the food we eat, and distinguish the good from the bad. Concept and food looks amazing and Mario seems like an inspirational guy, and helps prove you aren't doing taking cash for reviews.
I think a bit more about the chain would have been helpful in the review, it was some of the comments that prompted me to look into it.
Nearest one is 45 mins away, will try at some point In Sha Allah.
Have to Admire your honesty Ali.. You could have quite easily given them a negative review after being kicked out but you stuck to your principles and what your channel is all about which is being honest about the actual food.. You’re getting a Heyman from me for keeping calm even though you were very miffed 😂😂👏🏽
Shows honesty and class. They missed a trick, it is what it is! Fairplay and they seem nice and think all parties were decent. However, you asked for permission and then their higher powers said no, but that is the reality of life. Fairplay Ali, always consistent and on the level.

Good review Ali - shame you were kicked out. It maybe that the employee you asked didn't realise that it was company policy that you can't record inside. If the management were polite about it I don't think its too much of an issue as your average person won't be recording inside.
Turns out company policy is I’m allowed to film but it’s over now anyway
They didn’t have to kick you out.They could’ve just asked you politely to stop filming. Asking you to leave the premises when you’re a paid customer in the middle of eating is bang out of order! Even more so because you asked for prior permission. What age are they living in?? Nearly everyone take pics with an iPhone or camera to film before they dive in, whether that’s for their vlog or Instagram etc. if anything they have 30,000 subscribers viewing this thanks to you. It’s free advertising for them, what more can a business ask for?? They should be humble and grateful.. As a matter of principle I wouldn’t go there after seeing this because I don’t see why they should benefit from your viewers after what they did. Hats off to you for being so polite and honest . If anything they should learn from you. Unbelievable!! 🤦🏻♀️

It's part of the pizza business model. The money is in the add ons, which don't tend to be as good anyway.

@@SuperYtc1they are £6 mate! materials, labour, light and heat, fixed asset depreciation, franchise fees, doesn't really leave much now... £10 yes that would be a good return.
You're not allowed to film wherever you want. Not in a private business. Even if you ask permission from a member of staff and they said yes, the owner can withdraw your permission anytime.
In any event. Bad look for the owner. Not good customer service.

The issue here was the way it was handled, and comp policy says I can. When I was asked to stop I was miffed because I’ve gotten soaked just to get my gear to do a good review and then out of nowhere the guy from next door comes in and tells me to pack up.
A little common sense here is needed. I’ve asked, I’m getting no one in the shot, company policy says it’s okay, it’s a glowing review, I’m not disturbing anyone etc

I’ve been to that Fireaway in Stockport, I went in once and they had to get the guy next door in Athena to come in and make the pizza. Took ages. The Colombian café called Sanjuan over the road is banging, the guy who owns it is a G.

Stockport follower here- we would recommend Luckys (burgers), Happiness City (chinese), Chunky chicken - not the franchise (burgers), Sweet diner (burgers. Happy eating!

Heyman.. reviews are superb. You are correct.. thier house so thier rules. it is such a competitive market then having these problems is only going to work against them. The guy seemed cool and he was only following the rules.. extra toppings at that price is too much. Keep going.. good luck and hope you are good. Thomas

Hi everyone. Mixed feelings on being asked to leave. You did everything as you should, got good customer service initially, but then politely asked to leave by a different staff member. I think its more the company not wanting their 'secrets' out there. You were a true professional and behaved impeccably, even after being asked to leave. Well done to you, not so much them.

Bury also has in many peoples opinion the best Chunky Chicken, theres also Orlandos, Pepes Piri Piri, Beardys Burgers(smash burgers), Smashed (smash), Parkhills Star (kobedas) ... Homerun for amazing pizzas. Some decent spots.
Fireway is hit and miss opening so many franchises so quickly quality isn’t consistent nationwide. You dodged a bullet with the wedges when i got them absolutely terrible. Cannoli and dessert pizza a highlight for me from a PIZZA place!
Never heard of them.
That’s why I’m wary of franchises. Gdk is one that’s hit or miss. I get the impression these fireaway franchises is that at the end of the day it’s about making money.

If The management was offended by you recording they could’ve asked you nicely to stop. But telling you to leave in the middle of your meal is rude and not professional so for me I would never go back there, doesn’t matter how good the food taste’s.

I did souvlaki review they didn't want me to film. So got my souvlaki and went to my car started eating it . It was cold. So I looked at footage I noticed that the charcoal wasn't even lit. I stopped eating it. I realised then that's why he didn't want me to film it. So far I had 3 incidents. Keep up the great work bro

Asked to leave for videoing in the premises, after having realised that they should have spoken to employees to find out if they were comfortable with the recording, before having given permission to do it. Not that serious from what I can gather if we are to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

Fireaway use a 0 pizza flour could even be some type 1 in there hence the speckles in the dough
Need to try SFC bfd mannigham land succulent soft chicken and chips and try the spicy chicken bigrer and chips the burger is fresh and actually spicy like actual spicy will burn you this is geetiing a heyman for sure

Well done bro for still giving an honest review. I however don't think I'll be supporting such a business. I had a peri shop myself and I see that as disgusting ethics and would never have done such a thing to my customers
Mixed reactions to this video- definitely feel for you getting mixed messages on being allowed to review your food order in the store. Props to you for continuing to review as impartial as you could. But it’s not clear if they kicked you out, or asked you to stop filming in their shop. There is a distinction. Either way take it on the chin and move on.

He was the only staff member there and Fireaway always allow filming. He went next door to get the manager a good 30mins in to me arriving

Getting asked to leave because you are filming may sound bad... Especially when you are giving them a good review...
However there are reasons. First of all you are not allowed to film on someone's private property without their permission ( which I know you asked for). Secondly they may not have had objections, but I realise you speak very loudly on your reviews for clarity for your many viewers. Which is great for us... And not so bad if it's a noisy large establishment. However when it's a smaller chain with a few tables... This will retract from the experience for other people and seems like you almost take over their shop.
Essentially their job is not only to provide nice food... But a welcoming calming experience for friends and family to enjoy.
I can understand both sides. Overally I love your reviews. Your doing a great job and also this places food seems great and reasonably priced like many of the establishments you review.

In the long term yes you help a lot of businesses with your positive reviews and also negative reviews can affect businesses.
But I do understand that the business should have a right to decide if they want a review in their restaurant or not. If it's in your car or out of the shop... They can't do anything
