I think Karp would have been happy to keep Palantir chugging along away at low valuations, but he is aware that the talent on the team wants to see value in the stock as part of the SBC. Also, Palantir leadership can see that companies like Microsoft are going to try and undercut the competition, so Palantir is beating them to the punch with AIP and AIP Now. Palantir has done fantastic chess moves thus far.

Palantir retail community are some of the smartest investors I've ever come across. Even if they are long term wrong by half........ I think those are still great returns.

Thank You for injecting common sense into the "bar-fight" of traders on PLTR, take-aways for me: Pace myself, don't overcommit with bible-thumping enthusiasm, diversify a little more, prepare for losing a near term battle but wining the war on profits; we are in the know but WS often lags us.

AMC is a great example of an investor community hyping up a stock and literally ruining people's lives. I appreciate the palantir community creators for bringing up both the bull and the bear case
Different companies and narratives mate
I y'all might be forgetting one of principles in Zero to One; ~"fly under the radar for as long as you can". And by substituting some of the revenue for growth right now, they may be less obvious to potential competitors.
It really made no sense to me that to this guys it doesn't matter whether we are right or wrong, whether the market goes up and down. We are good regardless. People are really losing a sh*t ton of money out here. I personally have been through this and all I can say is get professional information on what system fits you.
There is no way around it, you gotta create your own system from scratch which is what I've done. I just watch these guys to get different perspectives. My system is 100% accurate and has nothing to do with guessing what the Fed will do or macro economic data of any kind.
Recently started out with an investment manager and it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. When I look back, On over 150k my rate of return was 3/1.5 % on buy & hold. Disaster. Long story short I wish I could have taken this path long ago. Closed last year with a growth of 32%, I could have hit a million and more by now.

Sure. Camille Anne Hector is the analyst that helps me. She has a large following and is easily found online. She has extensive understanding as I have made so much since following her.
Found her, I wrote her an email. Looking forward to what she has to say in my situation, I plan to start 2024 on a woodnote financially.
Great company
I don't mind Palantir coming down 30-40%, as long as the trajectory with new customers, bootcamps and revenue continue in the same way. I bought shares way before the big drop, and then sat on the sidelines just waiting for it to go down further when it was at $7, but then of course it took off, and I had to continue accumulating at a higher price. The hardest thing is to know oneself, but I hope I'll take advantage of the opportunity next time it presents itself
Looking forward to this, I listen to all you guys daily. Been in PLTR since pre lock out and have seen the highs and low. I know it's a winner and enjoy backing a company I fundamentaly (for the most part) agree with.

The future of PLTR and the future of the Free World are allied. If we lose the war in the Ukraine because of the lacking support from Congress and lagging support of high tech AIP like PLTR ....we well may be done for since high tech is the one winning card we have at this time. I own PLTR stock but this reality worries me more !
As a response to Felix 29:37. I keep notes on my investing thoughts 2 to 3 times a year and it helps me to be a better investor. For fun here are some of my notes:
Oxy stock - oil is down due to pandemic 10-14$ is a good price (Currently 65$) - did not hold this
Amd bought at $19.70 sold at $42.46
Nvidia bought at $148 sold at $186
Bitcoin (August 2018) - rebuy if it dips below 3k - it never dipped
Boeing (May 2020) - stock is $100 share good entry point with the 737 Max crashes. This company can't fail with its contracts (Bond investor acquaintance begged me not to buy)
I've now become more of a long term investor versus a value/swing trader because of these notes.

But I know Arny and he’s very smart
My brokers like this one; their price predictions are always short term consevitve they like this long term. I would point out they got me in Illy Lilly at $70 The amount of social media content on this is a bonus. The best stock advice is buy a stock a week after I do, I always seem to lose 5% short term. You don't lose until you sell! Don't stress over corrections you will drive yourself nuts.
Guys, next to Palantir and Tesla, which third stock comes to your minds when thinking of a company with huge prospects to be widely adapted, exciting tech, potentially creating generational wealth, having its feet in various branches and great leadership?

One of the biggest threats to Palantir is the endless amount of UA-camrs who are making up things to talk about in videos to increase their numbers of views and their pay from UA-cam .
