I just purchased the whole kit. Everything they sell. Thanks for the pitch. Expensive as heck but worth every penny of it.

I',m thinking about buying the kit. I need to get in deep and make back cuts. I cant do it with my angle grinder.

What is the cutter made of on the ball gouge.

Every one of these vids always shows the cutting process in 10x time. Would like to see a little real time cutting.

Tom, I came upon your channel by searching for Arbortech Power Carving Unit - which I am ordering. You didn't exactly say, but if you received your ArborTech cutters from Arbortech, have they said anything about when they might introduce the Precision Carving System to the USA? I enjoyed your videos and the info they provided. I believe that the mini-Turbo could also do some sculpting work just like the TurboPlane - do you agree? When I ordered the Power Carving Unit, I also ordered the Ball Gouge. Now I need to start looking for scrap 2x materials. I Drive a ready-mix concrete mixer in the Columbus, Ohio area, so I am always on the lookout for cutoff & scrap lumber !! Thanks, Charlie

Charlie, they did not mention anything about the Precision Carving System. (You mean I might have to buy more?). If you are really interested, you might want to call them and ask, they seem pretty friendly.
Yes the mini turbo can do some sculpting with the two winged cutter. I actually used that to carve the depression of the mahogany bowl that I am doing in the most recent of the Arbortech Power Carving review series that this video is a part of (the Power Chisel video will be up tonight at 8:30). It had more control than the ball gouge for that job and can go deeper than the turbo plane.
Thanks for watching. I grew up just outside Toledo and currently assist my parents with the financial aspect of running their day cares in Waterville (near Toledo) and Findlay. So, while I live in Upstate New York currently, I am an Ohio boy at heart.
