OK, got mine a few days ago and finally got it out, mounted it up and used it for about an hour or so. I have the burr discs and actually took one off of the angle grinder and mounted the turbo scraper.Well all in all it was a very positive experience. I had a bowl that I had carved and used it to do the final carving before sanding.I used the arbortech sander and my time was cut by two thirds by using the turbo scraper instead of the burr disc.I am very satisfied with the results of the product and the learning curve was very short due to me owning most of the arbortech angle grinder mounted products so I knew how to use it pretty much right out of the box.The best part was the light touch I was able to use when removing bumps and carving marks PLUS you can see through it so your work is always there for you to see.I have always had a tendency to go too deep in the final carving of a piece when the wood gets thin. This product will help you from blowing through that last 1/4 inch or so.I am very satisfied and cannot wait to make some spoons with it. GOOD ON YA MATE,well done!!!!
I seriously have to try this scraper. Amazing possibilities. I do have to say though, this gentleman has the steadiest hands I have ever seen. He's a surgeon!
I bought the scraper recently to add to my other Arbortech tools and have been getting used to it. The video was very helpful in showing different techniques. Thanks!
Hi there! The TURBO Scraper is designed to fit our Power Carving Unit or any standard 4" or 4 1/2" grinder. Please check out website for more details: www.arbortechtools.com/us/shop-online/products-us/turbo-scraper
Wouldn't an orbital sander achieve the same results? Edges are finished better with a router. Aside from notching or carving, there doesn't seem to be any more advantages.
Hi there! The TURBO Scraper is more than just a finishing tool; we like to use it for a variety of projects, and it is perfect for beginners. The TURBO Scraper is slower at removing timber compared to the TURBO Plane and Industrial Woodcarver. You can adjust the pressure to carve as much or as little as you prefer and easily remove any burn marks. Its profile suits wide curves, making it ideal for chair seats and spoon makers, especially when used vertically. Perfect for shaping both internal and external profiles swiftly and accurately, it's highly beneficial for high-end furniture and instrument makers. Hope this helps!

Hi mikeruccio1054! Really glad you enjoyed using the tool and saw the potential of it! Can't wait to see you carve some spoons!
The see through functionality is really important. Would love to see this on your other cutters as well.
Great feedback, will pass it on!

Ha ha, glad you liked it!
I love this tool, I’m not a good wood carver by any means but I really enjoyed this tool and it’s inspired me to do more.

Hey Thom! Thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked Kev's video. We are looking forward to seeing what you carve. Enjoy it!
Great tool 👌👌 . Thank you Mr Inkster 🙏
I'm a welder and use these on aluminum and it is a life saver
Looks really nice! I need to get my hands on one to try it out and then offer them on my market.
Will there be a smaller version for the mini grinder?
Mini grinder needs more blade options!
Hi there! At the moment there are no plans for a smaller version but we might do so in future 😊
Fände ich auch interessant, @@ArbortechWoodworking
Happy New Year!!! Highly appriciate for such a lovely creation of 2024. Thank you will be ordering it soon. Best Regards, Amit
This looks amazing! I can't wait to get rid of my burr discs
A friend of mine got his today and noted that it is extremely important to have the guard installed. A slip could cause damage to the finger.
Thank you for sharing! We always encourage people to use the guard for safety measures, as it's always better to be safe than sorry. 👍
Can't wait to try it on wood and ice!
Preorder is placed!

looks good. On my shopping list
Can't wait to see what you will carve next! 😊
So my question is, what power tool do you use with this blade? It looks like something I’d live to add to my toolbox

They had me at shavings rather than sanding dust.
