Looks to be an excellent tool! - Cuts look clean, some of those textures were really interesting - One is in my eBay basket, just waiting on payment for this spoon & heart bowl. If I had to offer a criticism - I'd like to see a mix of real time & sped up footage to get more of a feel for the process - Would also help flesh out the vids a bit to get past the magic 10 minute mark.
Yep its pretty cool, very good for medium to large works! Thanks for the video feedback, i was wondering if the speed this was ok. I was also worried people would get bored if the video went for too long :) Will slow it down a bit for the next one, cheers!
Thank you for posting this. New Sub from Spain. You have inspired me to buy this tool. I received it yesterday. Used it on a pretty hard variety of pine (sorry, don't know the name), and it doesn't leave clean cuts like in your video. I assume it is because it's kind of a soft wood. Could you please confirm? Thanks again!
It is not perfect so does tear on some types of wood, experiment with a few varieties to see which work best. Alternativly you could try a burr ball for a rally clea finish ua-cam.com/video/K-o4VvDunag/v-deo.html
@@FromASeed Thanks for your reply! I have tried on other wood and it does in fact leave a cleaner cut. I have watched the video you linked, and it seems that it leaves some burn marks. Not sure if those are because of shadows. Thank you again. I'm watching all the videos on your website ;)
Hello From A Seed! A question from France... would you recommend this gauge for texturing in hardwood, like Oak or Walnut? Cheers and have a good day in Down Under!

How do you spell createive... F R O M A S E E D! Well done. Thanks for the inspiration.
Wow, thank you Steve :)
I am guessing you were using a very soft wood like cedar for most of this shoot. Just got an Arbortech Ball Gouge and will try different woods.
Jacaranda, so not as soft as cedar and not as hard as a hardwood
