I really like how this video shows the weaknesses alongside the strengths but also tells you how to work around them. It's a good demonstration that doesn't try to make this seem like it's some sort of magical tool that has no shortcomings. I'm definitely considering getting one!
So doesn't this seem like something that would be a more natural pairing with a die grinder than angle grinder? That would give a more stylus like experience similar to a dremel rotary.
The Ball Gouge works great with angle grinders because of the power output they can generate compared to a die grinder. We also have our own angle grinder called the Power Carving Unit, which works with all of our woodworking attachments. ✌
@ArbortechWoodworking i am most interested in the PCU because it has dust extraction. Not sure why angle grinder dust shrouds can't be developed for standard angle grinders that are useful for caving instead of just concrete grinding.
