I used to play Germany and can confirm. It's such a pain to play most of the time because a lot of German players I've played with are dumb af. Not even they can pull off Steiner's final assault if their lives depended on it.
I was a German main up to 5.7 and I just gave up. US main now and your opinion is completely wrong to my experience. German tanks are weak as shit. They have enough armor to make them slow as fuck but not enough to stop an M18 unless the M18 gunner is braindead and aims literally for the most angled plate of armor. Their guns are amazing but frankly so are everybody else's past 5.0. And they are fucking slow and and low acceleration. Like holy shit. I am cruising through the American line so far but I am thinking about switching to Sweden because they have cool planes and I want a full tree(excluding boats) of one nation and Sweden doesn't have a lot of stuff so it's gonna be quicker.
A big reason is that the M1 Abrams tank itself suffers the same effect that the other iconic tanks do in this game. Same as the Tiger, Panther, Tiger II, etc...
So first off 30% winrate has been that way for 4 years straight not just a few months. And if you’re going off of War Thunder Data Project for the stats then pretty much every reason you gave for why America suffers can be applied to other nations more. Wallet warriors, 1 death leavers, etc. Russia has the lowest kills per game out of every nation in the game meaning lowest player skill especially when combined with the fact they have the most players playing. The closest ratio of kills per game and kills per death meaning the most 1 death leavers and/or wallet warriors and yet they’ve enjoyed a 60-70% winrate for the last 4 years. The real things that matter are utility. If your tank is covered in invincible Relikt and/or you have LWR, hardkill APS, fuel tanks that don’t spall vs fuel tanks that do, spall liners, etc than you’re going to do better than America which intentionally has none of those things modeled even though the tanks do in real life. SEPv2 is missing Trophy APS, and LWR along with the HC. Almost all Abrams have incorrect hull armor as Gaijin has pushed the narrative that “AbRaMs NeVeR gOt Du HuLlS UnTiL sEpV3” ignoring that Abrams had BRL-2 and BRL-3 hull armor before the DU HAP-1 armor. The turret ring should be 200mm thick the UFP should be 50mm and fuel bulkhead armor thickness is also wrong, it also wraps around the front and outer side as well as it’s completely encased. They’re missing the turret basket, ARAT should protect against KE as it’s 2 flyer plates just like Relikt weighs 3.5x more than Relikt is and ARAT 2 is LITERALLY layered in tandem over the existing ARAT 1 there’s no reason it shouldn’t protect against tandem let along KE yet in game it’s basically useless. The tanks have had all the weight increase modeled but none of the armor, survivability, and utility that goes along with it. Also internal spall liners yes the Abrams has Kevlar and UHWMPE spall liners it’s just integrated in with the armor it’s still more effective than Gaijin thinks plus Abrams crew IRL wear body armor So all in all the Abrams because of how heavy they are is lacking in the mobility department, definitely has the largest, weakest, weakspot in the game being turret ring Hull can also be shot anywhere from any angle and has the most spalling and the 5 second reload is nothing special. Arietes, Leclercs, Merkavas, etc all have 5 second reloads, it’s not a benefit anymore. It’s easily the worst nation for top tier MBTs in the game. Other nations that would be worse have 2A7’s in their tree now America also lacks in AA department, any vehicle that isn’t a dedicated AA but has IRST like the M3A3 Bradley intentionally doesn’t have a HE belt to use. Stinger AA are missing data link making it impossible to down helis, LAV-AD’s LRF is still glitched with the hydra rockets, and every other AA in the game is missing historical AP rounds or in the case of the ADATS just isn’t enough when there’s 8.3 BR AA’s that can pen like 130-140mm armor Lastly in the CAS department bombs and subsonic mavericks are nowhere near the performance of 40km supersonic KH-38s and the supersonic CAS planes to choose from. People are delusional if they think America loses because of player skill when America literally has the most kills per game out of the major nations. It’s literally all anti American bias unironically There’s a whole other host of weird biases that I didn’t even scratch the surface of like M829A2 having a projectile diameter less than 25mm so Gaijin intentionally makes it not spall on thin internal plates plus one of the lowest projectile mass which also affects spall along with a host of other weird issues

It’s basically been 5 going on 6 years 👍 There were like 1 or 2 patches within that time that America had a winrate above 50% one was in beginning of 2021 before they added the BVM and another in beginning of 2023 when they first added the SEP but they were very short lived, I think around the SEP was when Abrams UFP were temporarily buffed? Maybe that was earlier in 2021 idk maybe it’s more fair to say since there’s lots of times it was close to 45% winrate that it isn’t so much that America has had 30% last bunch of years as much as Russia has had 70% in last bunch of years regardless America has pretty much always suffered at top tier except a few short lived patches due to Gaijin being anti American. There’s no other explanation to leave them so artificially nerfed for so long
Well a lot of what you said here is true the Abrams never had spall liners spookston addressed this after the controversy As far as the increase in weight the chieftain made a video talking about it as well and the Abrams has indeed increased in weight but this is because of the miles of wires that have been stuffed into the tank over the years for new electrical components
The problem I experienced while playing US top tier is that rarely the team has any teamwork and teammates just died once then left People are just not willing to spot where the enemies are at and themselves are not able to do something in the match Bad map reading, 0 communication and no one respawn are the reason why US team lose that much IMO Abrams are quite balanced and works quite well, but there are many of times facing T80 and got gajined I admit that I am bad I just can't face 3 T80 at the same time

@@derf5045 yeah France 7.7 and 9.7 are some of my favourites in the whole game, the fact that they have a very specific play-style with great firepower and mobility and zero armour actually forces you to be good at the game or suffer. Italy has some of this going on but the vehicles that are actually competitive are so few and far between. For me the centauro family including the VBC and maybe the Freccia are the only real highlights and everything else is average at best or boring copy paste. But through adversity comes strength I guess.

I love Abrams. But it’s actually unbearably painful to play top tier US. And tbh it’s not just wallet warriors. It feels like in general American players kind of suck at top tier.
Not to be mean or anything but you are kinda part of the problem, it goes for any nation, going in with only 1 or 2 tanks and not a full line up, its generally a endurance game and only having 1 tank to give to the team hurts when that 1 tank gets hit
@@blackjack8697 as I said, I decided to play like these players, to see what it’s like. Whenever playing top tier, I usually play Japan with a full lineup. I don't play the m1 aim that much anymore and when I started playing it which was a few months after it came out, the teams were not a complete mess. The players back then had squadrons to grind it and were getting through the stock grind, so they had some form of experience under their belt, nowadays, people can just pay to get a premium with all parts day one.

They should make cas harder to earn, cas should not be spawning in 2 minutes into the game getting 7 kills next to spawn

lots lots lots more players so the match results are more spread out and it even outs everyone
It will get better once there is the option to play with people the same level as you, lvl 100s in one lobby and level 3s in another

You cant "fix" player skill. Abrams is a fantastic vehicle, HSTVL is stupidly strong, and US has the best CAS in the game with F16s and f15s.
