Well done for working out how to work on this quirky little car! Rear brake cylinder seizing is very common on the M3W due to corrosion. When fitting the replacement cylinder, it's a good idea to smear some red rubber grease around the piston ends (under the rubber boots) to help prevent reoccurrence.
Hi Mel’s Motors. Great video well done Having one of these infernal machines 🥴I think you should bare in mind cracked fuel tank brackets are a regular mot fail on these . Also looking back at the mot history front wheel bearings seem to feature a lot something that these do not suffer from . What they do wear out like there going out of fashion is the lower wishbone outer ball joints. These are from a metro (upper ball joint) and used in the wrong position thus wearing very quickly. My point is when checking the wheel this wear can be mistaken for bearing wear. Just for your info . Keep up the good work.👍
