I guess we'd all save ourselves some headaches and frustration if we'd just learn to read the instructions first!! Your honesty is very refreshing!! Your poker table is amazing! You did a wonderful job on the upholstery! It's hard to believe it was your first attempt!! I really believe you can do anything that you set your mind to do! You are truly a master craftsman! Hope you didn't lose too much money during your first game on the new table! You and Buddy have a great weekend! God bless!!
Impressive work!! It's hard to believe you haven't done any upholstering before! I'm amazed at how you stretched the fabric so smoothly around the corners. Loved the video and have fun using your new game table!
Eric you are like Spock! As James Kirk said "I'd rather have a guess from you then a calculation from a mathemation." (Or somethg like that). Great job. Enjoyable video - speed up helped keep my interest & not too much talking. Smart man! Hope the customer enjoys it! God bless! Linda Weakley
Not reading the manual and guessing is a problem we woodworkers seem to have. Did that with my Kreg Foreman. Noticing my clear frustration, my wife finally convinced me to read the manual.
Very very nice table. I want to build one myself. Do you have any plans or instruction video on how to build one? This video didn’t really show the “how to”. Thanks!
Looks great. For those circle cuts a big router with the inside handle tied to a string and a screw works really good, fast too. Just keep it tight. I had to make a couple dozen oval tables for habitat for humanity houses some years back, or maybe they were countertops, idk. Lol
@@joshears2003 I believe it was a straight bit. Normally they would be used to make a groove or dado, just this time you're cutting all the way through.
Thanks!! Great job on the table!! Did you attach the foam to the wood or simply cut it to size and seal it in within the vinyl w/ staples? I am refurbing one I bought of craiglist. I want to add foam on top the thin layer of foam that is already there (glued down) . Do you think I should glue /adhesive the foam to each other or it should be fine to simply cut it and the 2 foam will grip each other and stay put during stapling? Any tips for cutting the up corners of vinyl? Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated!! Thanks again!
I didn't glue the foam to the wood but did glue the foam to foam to build up the thickness. For the corners, take your time. Make short cuts, you can always add more cuts or make them longer if needed. Use a lot of staples and buy an electric / pneumatic stapler!!!
I didn't use any plans. Just went with some basic measurements. I did some research on what others were using for cloth and foam thickness. Let me know if you have any questions.
Great looking table! Though a question for you regarding the cup holder supports... how thick are they? Customarily the padding used on the rail is 1" thick. So did you use a 1" thick scrap piece of plywood or did you cut them from the 3/4" cutoffs from the table and rail plywood panels?
I did not glue the cloth. Mine was folded too when received. I just pulled it and used a lot of staples!! A lot! I did some research before building and some people talked about using an iron or a steamer. I did not try those methods. Good Luck!!
Eric, I have a question for you. I didn't see any indication that your poker table can fold up in order to store it when not in use. If that's the case, where will you put it so it doesn't take up needed work space in your woodshop??
@@CraftsmansLegacy that's cool!! So you can store it easily! I should have known that you would have that storage issue covered! Lol! Have an awesome weekend! Hi to Buddy!! God bless!
FYI when a man grabs a Festool he knows what he’s doing bc no weekend warrior will flip that bill for a tool . Excellent hands excellent talent the felt is my only concern
Hi! I enjoy using Festool or any well made tool for that matter. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the felt I used. It's been holding up fine. I know there's been a handful of beer/whiskey and cigar spills. :)
Beautiful table! I am looking to make this a future project and would like to know a rough estimate of cost, assuming I have the tools already, how much were the materials at the end of the project?
Lucky bastard…. Upholstering bottom down without seeing what’s below (knits, wobbly parts etc.) was very unexpected to see…. And that leather cutting in the center get me a big headache because you make a deep cut and afterwards you stretch both endings apart…. Never have been afraid that the cutting line would rip both sides apart completely? I would have made a „round cut“ at the end of this cut just to make sure, that the leather won’t rip apart while upholstering

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it
Man that turned out amazing!!!!
When are we gonna visit Eric?

Ha! Thanks
Wow, you made this look easy and the poker table looks great. Might just try to emulate this.
This is nuts . This is amazing. I can just about change a plug so I doubt Ill be at this level any time soon.
I'm about to start a roulette table. Cool build.

Sometimes it's more fun to guess! Usually frustration sets in quickly.
Impressive tools you have, I’m nearly done with a similar table but with raised rails to bring in led lighting
Nice!! Would love to see some pics when you're finished.
This is brilliant. Thanks. Subscribed!
Awesome, thank you!
Go Fish! I wasn't expecting a laugh. Haha. Great work sir.
Glad you enjoyed
Man, that is Sharp! Good Job! Thanks for posting that.
Thanks for watching!
I love watching videos like this it makes me feel okay with spending the $1,200 to just buy the table
That is a awesome poker table! Great work of art!
Thank you so much. How kind.
Looks great. I love the cup holders built in to the rail!
Thanks!
Great looking table.
Thanks!
Great job, I feel your pain with the learning curve…..the end result was fantastic…😎
Thanks 👍
nice job eric it turned out great
Thanks 👍
Really cool project and video! I love how it turned out - can't believe it was your first time doing upholstery...looks perfect!
Thank you, very kind to say. It was my first time with upholstery, I've always hired it out in the past.
@@CraftsmansLegacy Well it looks great and it looked kind of fun and rewarding to do the upholstery...easy for me to say, right?! haha
Beautiful table! Love to hear your self talk! It’s good to know even a master like yourself can have self doubt and keeps moving forward. #Inspired!
Thank you so much! Far from a master but I keep learning
Absolutely Beautiful Card Table, we really enjoy your videos.
Thank you so much!
Awesome work
Thanks a lot 😊
Nice job. 👍👍
Thanks 👍
I have the same attachment and haven’t used it yet. . Great tip.
Nice looking fabric
I think so too. Thanks
Amazing work!
Thanks a lot!
Excellent build Eric...go fish...lol. I wouldn't mind playing poker on the table. I'll grab Jason from Bents Woodworking for a road trip.
Thanks man! I would love to see both you.
Hell of a job

One of the best poker tables builds on UA-cam. Is there any way you could share your plans? Thanks.
Thank you! We've had many requests for plans and it's something we are looking into. Thank you for asking though!
Great job Dude! 👏👏👏
Thank you so much 😀
MANTASTIC!!!

Its amazing!!!!!, do you have the blueprints or drawings??? Please
Thank you. I don't have plans. Maybe down the road we will

Can you give us a price break down? Or How much was materials? This looks like a fun project.
It is a fun project. I had about $250 in the project.
That is awesome thanks for replying your card table looks amazing .
Awesome video. Question: what foam did you use and wear did you get it from. Also where can I get some of that 4way stretch vinyl? Thanks in advance

Just saw your video. Very nice table.
Can I ask where you sourced your speed cloth?
I purchased the speed cloth from amazon. It came folded but wasn't too bad to work with. I think there is a link in the description.
Hello! Would you make and ship one of these to NJ?
Sorry, I'm not able to do that right now. Maybe in the future.

Thank you. I used 1" foam and the supports were 3/4. I wanted a "pillow" effect but didn't want them to push too far down.
I can’t find that large sheet of 1inch high density foam any where
are you happy with those table legs? or do you wish you bought the expensive ones?
What kind of padding did you use for the railing ?
I used 1" closed cell for the railing. I put some details in the video notes too.
I'm having issues using the Speed Cloth, which came folded. I can't get the puckers out of it so it won't lay flat. Did you glue down your fabric?
I did not glue the cloth. Mine was folded too when received. I just pulled it and used a lot of staples!! A lot! I did some research before building and some people talked about using an iron or a steamer. I did not try those methods. Good Luck!!
Hello, nice job !
Tell me please , what do you use under cloth ?
Thank you. All the materials used are in the description. The playing field underlayment is a 1/4 closed cell foam from BryBell.
How many hrs did it take?
Great question! Around 25hrs

Where did you find the foam for the rail? I’ve been having a real hard time finding one the right size and thickness
There is a company that is local to our shop called, The Foam Factory.
Would it be possible to share the dimensions of the build? Size of rail and playing surface?
I'll have to see if I can find them!

Hi Brendan, I had approx $300 in materials.

Just curious, what would you charge for making such a table, but with LED lights in , otherwise the exact same model with 8 players? :)
I'm not really sure. I had approx. $300 in materials.
@@CraftsmansLegacy Thank you :) Could you give me the meassure of the table? Length etc. And you made such a beautiful table!
Yep, RTFM, Read the (bleep)ing manual!
HAHA! I haven't heard that in a long time!

HOW can I get the carpet plssss
Что за трек на 4:17 минуте ?)))
Nice build but i missed the how to part
You have to pay attention.
A Craftsmans Legacy lol thanks ill try that next time
Not bad for your first table build. My first wasn't so nice. But then again I was allot younger(dumber) and had no wood working experience.

Sorry, this one’s not for sale.
How much would you charge to have a table build?
No one sells that foam padding for some reason
I used 1/4 for the playing-field and 1" for the rail. You should be able to get both on Amazon.
how much for you to make xD
I have done very similar with woodglut designs.
Look at the manual? NEVER! Unmanly!
haha!
You kinda look like my Dad...
a "few power tools" yea ok.

wow, waste of a lot of material
How so? I kept all the wood drops and been using them over time.
